Sarabi felt his dark warm hand atop of hers,and she smiled. "Thats alright, I just couldnt wait to see you!I knew you would look wonderful, no matter what. Things have been preety slow at Doomi's, and I was so bored while waiting for you. Im just glad you home now."

He smiled at her reference to their apartment as 'home'.
"It feels like home, doesn't it? Someday we'll get a house, and then we'll really be independent."
He would have coninued, but a waiter came up to the table and grinned at the couple.
"Good evening. My name's Alan, and I'll be your waiter this afternoon. The specials today are a cream of chicken soup and beef medallions with a salad. Could I start you two off with something to drink?" He pulled a small pad from his belt pocket, and waited to hear what the two would say.
Tawn took another cursory glance at his menu, mostly out of habit. "Actually, I think we're ready to order, as well. I'd like a cinnamon cream coffee, please..." he paused as Alan wrote, "and the spaghetti with meatballs."
The waiter scribbled, and then tapped his pen on the pad once with a finishing emphasis. "Excellent. And the lovely lady?"
