Madara conveniently meets up with Naruto, and bumps into Kakashi and Yamato as well. Madara knows that Sasuke is important to Naruto(since he expresses his feelings about Sasuke to like almost everyone.) Well, what about Sakura? Kishi left her in Konoha, and she may be headed to Iron now. And let us recall that Sakura kept her confession quiet and was well deciphered by Naruto and Shikamaru that she is clearly in love with Sasuke. But that's it. So Madara doesn't know that Sakura's important in Sasuke's life? Now Sasuke is up against Raikage, and it may take a couple of chapters, but I think Sakura might play a pivotal role in this. The fact that she was conveniently left behind in Konoha and Madara confronts Naruto, along with Kakashi and Yamato. Who knows, Sakura might be the key to stopping Sasuke right now(imagines FoD reenactment). I also think that this is the perfect chance for Kishi to show us Sakura's development. Other opinions?
At this moment, Sakura's feelings are ambiguous the way I see it, but Sasuke is still clearly dear to her. I hope for a Sasuke vs Sakura fight as well, even if Sasuke isn't himself(maybe fighting Sakura will snap him out of it-the fact that Team Taka reminds him of Team 7, Sasuke still cherishes the bonds that were created with Team 7).
Excuse my poor grammar, summer had an effect on me... -Some credit goes to the SasuSaku FC on NF for coming up with these ideas. I liked their thoughts and wanted to share some of it with you guys :]. A bit off topic: Do you guys watch the anime? The latest ending theme is a bit weird, but at the end you can see Sasuke's and Sakura's name(in Japanese of course) together and then being washed away by the tides.
