Hi. I am trying to find some pics online of lolita hairstyles in preperation for my wedding. I have gone through my magazines but have not found anything that would really suit me. Anyway, any links or just pointing me in the direction of resources would be appreciated! (^_^)

Hm, this would all depend on the length and texture of your hair. But I'll look for pictures.

There is no specific Lolita "hairstyle" apart from the Hime cut. With lolita you can do all sorts of normal things like curls, braids, or even leaving it down but there really isn't definite lolita hairstyles

I just want to get some ideas. Basically I went to the salon to look through some of their magazine resources and they only had trashy tabloid mags. The lady I spoke to said that they base most of their hairstyles off celebrity pics. My dress is lolita themed and I want to be able to show them some pics of styles that would work with that. I googled some pictures of ringlet styles and got mostly celeb photos again... anyway, I just thought I'd try asking you guys. Thanks for the responses smile

Curls are the most common for special occasions. I am kinda annoyed about this, so, I suggest simply wavy or straight hair.
I can suggest you two hairstyles, apparently alike:
for the first one, the girl who is higher:

the second, the girl with longer hair [the other one looks good as well]

And yet, all I can think is "Hey, I recognize that photographer!" In all seriousness, most of what I think in terms of lolita hairstyle involves most of the hair being curled but having straight bangs.

To the handy-dandy Lolita Handbook, more specifically it's entry on hair! Quite a comprehensive coverage of "lolita" hair styles, I certainly suggest giving it at a least a glance. Good luck with what you decide to maintain! ^^

Maybe you should do some soft curls. Those always look nice. at least me they do. For me that easy seeing as my hair is already naturally curly. blaugh

There's a wedding edition of the English Gothic&Lolita bible. Not to mention some of them have very pretty hair tutorials in them. Check there. 3nodding

Hairstyles always depend on your face shape, hair colour and texture, I usually think of long curls and long straight cut bangs when I think of lolita hair but that may not suite everyone. There are so many adorable lolita hairstyles that could go great for a wedding dress it just depends on what your dress looks like I guess...sorry If I'm not much help
