There was a flash of black leather and black curls as Kerrigan hurled herself into her room. How she managed to make it from the Entertainment Room to her own was a mystery, even to her, though it all passed in a blur. She barely managed to make it to the bathroom before her stomach heaved, though thankfully she was able to keep her stomach contents contained. A few more dry heaves and Kerrigan slipped to her knees on the tile floor, beads of sweat gliding down her pale skin as her head rested against the wall. Closing her eyes, both because her eyes hurt and she needed to calm down, the huntress tried to rationalize through everything that just happened.

"Damn it Kerrigan, stop it. You're overreacting," she muttered to herself, almost inaudibly. Taking several deep breaths to regain control of her breathing, the huntress shakily got to her feet, moving over to the sink and splashing cold water on her face. Drying herself with a towel, she looked at herself in the mirror, eyes searching as if she was looking for something specific. She spent too much time learning to deal with situations like this for her to break now. Not when she had been doing so well. It was the pressure he was putting on her, the expectations being placed on her to provide the future and salvation that he wanted from her. After everything that happened she was just confused and needed space rather than overly romantic words and gestures. She was feeling emotionally claustrophobic, and it scared her.

"You're in control," she said to herself, the words seeming enough to slow her breathing down to normal levels. This was what she was afraid of - her emotions for Krii getting in the way of her progress. After everything that happened she was finally taking control of her life, completely independent of others, and devoid of unnecessary wants to please people. She couldn't let her desire to keep others happy at the cost of herself make her revert to the old Kerrigan. This one was strong, and she needed to re-evaluate everything that was going on in a rational way. Right now, she needed an outside opinion, and she knew just where to turn.

Walking from the bathroom to her closet, she changed into more casual attire before heading out of her room once more, pulling her curls back into a high ponytail.
