Ok...was thinking about it, would like to know what ya'll think....
1) Should we maybe agree on an invitation wording and save it here to use when inviting peeps so that we don't have to stop and think about what to say everytime we go to invite someone?
Maybe something like: Congratulations! You are cordially invited to join Friends 'Till the End. We are a small, relatively exclusive guild promoting friendship and roll play and we would love to add you to our family.
I don't know....help!!! Additions/subtractions? Scratch the whole thing and try a different approach? Oh yeah, if a member has suggested we invite, we should mention the member in there somewhere too.
2) Should we maybe have a form letter to send out to those who become inactive? Maybe a different form letter for those who joined and then never posted at all? Just something giving them a chance to start posting before they get tossed?
Maybe something like: Hey remember me? I'm a one of the crew from Friends 'Till the End and we recently noticed that it's been a while (insert the date of last post here) since you've stopped by and talked with us. We miss you, and would like to continue our friendship - but we also value members who post. Please post within 5 days of this pm being sent, or we may have to leave you behind....
And something like: Hey...does the name Friend's 'Till the End mean anything to you? Oh come on! Surely you remember joining this guild?! We are a great bunch of people and we thought you wanted to be one of us, but so far you have failed to make even one post. Remember: Gaia pays you to post, so its one of the easiest ways to make gold. Regretfully, if you do not post within 5 days of this pm being sent, you will be removed from the guild. We would rather that you stay and become a friend, but we need you to talk to us to do that!
I don't mind handling the sending of warning pms or keeping track and tossing people, just wondering what yall think about this...
