I made the turkey this year, since I couldn't stand one more year of my parent's dried a** turkey. This was the result:

Brined for a few hours in veggie and chicken stock with salt, brown sugar, allspice, and peppercorns, then stuffed with Apple, Onion, Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, and then massaged under the skin with sage butter.
Ho yes.
I also made fresh cranberry compote (they usually use that jelly crap in a can), and sweet potato pie.
Also a granita with Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, and Skyy vanilla vodka, but apprently I measured the vodka all wrong, because I got drunk with just one serving.
