Jude snorted with a laugh and eyed him. "There's more than that. There's a lot of stuff that feels good. Remember? The lover thing. The release the feels good too." Her smile grew devious. "And there are so many different things you can try."
She'd had many random lovers so far. Each a release of that lonely tension that sometimes filled her gut. Each lion was different, and each time seemed like a new experience. She chuckled, shaking her head. "But I suppose not everyone sees that to be a 'good' release."

"I wouldn't know." He laughed at himself. That sounded pathetic. But it was true. "I used to be saving myself for that true love, y'know?" He shook his head. "But she died before we ever did. Killed by a dominant dragon when she crossed into his lands during a war." He snorted. "Then I don't think I wanted to anymore. I stopped caring."
"Doesn't sound too bad, though."

She laughed with him. "That sounds like the kind of thing a mother tells her children, to keep them from growing up." She laughed again and shook her head, her bangs moving to reveal her eyed. "Too bad about the dame though. It's something you should experience at least once. Stick with me and you just might."
She could see herself with this big male for a night or few. He was indeed handsome.

"I think I like the sound of that. So long as you have more of this." he held up the leaf which had now burned down to the point where smoking it would be a hazard. "Doesn't sound bad at all."

Jude nodded. "Companions it is. What happens, happens." She leaned against him, laughing again. She hoped he wouldn't get too attached. Maybe the memory of the dead dame would keep him away after their companionship was over. She couldn't deal with a male trailing at her heals for months and months.
But, she told herself, I'll worry about that when the time comes.
