Darcy sat on a rock, humming softly as she knit on what was either going to be a blanket or a scarf. Either way, it was a good way to pass time as they waited for yet another adult to show up. She paused in her activity, taking a drink of the Red Bull she'd brought along with them. Lately, she'd been so tired....
Aaron looked over at his sister, slightly concerned. She looked so worn out lately... He glanced down to the little monochromatic bundle in his arms before looking out towards the cliff side. For once, he wished they'd hurry up. The sooner they got the meeting over with, the sooner Darcy could go back to getting some rest.

Spencer was usually never late for something important. He was always the first or second one at a party and generally would never forget a great event when it involved himself. But this time he was, as he counted by his watch, ten minutes minutes and thirty three seconds late to one of the most meaningful things in his lifetime...The day he was to pick up his child.
Now close to exhausted as he had been running as soon as he got out of his car he finally arrived at the spot where Darcy and Aaron were waiting. Taking a few moments to attempt at catching his breath, he huffed out some words. "I'm...sorry th-that I'm s-so late." He took a deep breath in and continued speaking. "My younger cousins were fighting again and I couldn't get them to calm down." He smiled lightly at Darcy and Aaron before extending his hand out to shake. "I'm Spencer Kansa by the way, I'm here to pick up my child."

Aaron smiled, shaking the man's hand. "We've been expecting you, Spencer." he said, nodding once. "I am Aaron, and this is my sister, Darcy. And, uh, this is your new bundle of joy, sir." He held the little blanketed bundle out to the man, silently wondering how he knew what he'd been called out here for. Was word getting out about them, or had Darcy tampered with the letters again? He was betting on the last one.
"Hello, Spencer." Darcy said, offering a small, mischievous smile. That could be taken as either a good sign or a bad sign. Either she forgave him, or she had something in mind. She didn't shake his hand; her hands were quite busy with her knitting. "I see." was all she said towards his explaination. "You needn't worry.....I'm getting used to people arriving fashionably late."
