Hey, everyone. this is kind of an off-topic thing to talk about in an otaku guild, but my DS got stolen yesterday. My brothers, too. Even if I can get my dad to buy me the DS that I originally had to pay for, I'll still probably have to stick with only one game. I've narrowed down, from my four DS games, two that I'd like to play, and here are my options:

Final fantasy III:It's a good game, and I'm allowed to re-name all the characters, so I've aptly named them, to the best of the character's personality quirks, after the characters from +Anima: Cooro, Senri, Nana, and Husky. The game is incredibly long, and therefore there isn't much chance of ending the game any time in the near future(It took me two days to get to what I thought was the end, and turned out to be the opening credits). I owned it for about four weeks prior to the break in of our car and the theft of the bag, so I'd gotten pretty far, and it would be troublesome to re-do all that game time. However, I've become pretty attached to the game, and I'd like to continue playing, no matter how much I'd have to re-do. Besides, I'd then know to levelgrind in the earlier game, and that I could give my characters jobs very quickly(I didn't figure out how to do it until about two or three quests in when it's required that you have a white mage present).

The World Ends With You:I've never actually played this game, but my brother owned it before our stuff got stolen. I've read the cut scenes over his shoulder, and they're side-splittingly hilarious. An example has been provided below. I've watched a review and I've been wanting to get the game for several months now. It's a JRPG, a genre which I find myself consistently being pulled towards. This game is also very long, with interesting characters who are plenty retarded, in a funny way, and it's such an old game I can probably buy it for about $5 in the bargain bin. Also, if you're brave enough, you can have the guys wear dresses. Gothic Lolita dresses. And bikinis. At once.

Shiki(female character):Omigod! Neku!
Neku(main character):What? What is it?
Shiki:Your pants...
Neku:*looks down. An image of a button hanging by a string*Oh. Yeah. I've been meaning to sew that back on, but I'm bad with a needle.
Shiki:Take your pants off!
Neku:Are you HIGH?!
Shiki:Look, I have to fix them! This sort of thing bothers me!
Neku:We're in the middle of a city full of people!
Shiki:They can't see you!
Neku:You can see me!
Shiki:Yeah, whatever. Are you going commando or something?
Neku:...
*skip forward*
Shiki:There we go. I think I'll do that if you ever mess with your clothes again.
Neku(thinking):Will I have to strip again? I better take better care of my clothes...
