The standard word order for Oggrish is similar to Latin, in that it is
[Subject + (modifiers)] + [Direct Object + (modifiers)] + [Indirect Object + (modifiers)] + [(verb modifiers) + verb]. Sometimes, however, especially if the verb is a form of "to be", the word order changes so that the verb is in front of the subject, as is the case for "Ip akam sesh", "Nalp syla lini", and "Ip puko goka".
Modifiers
In a sentence that has "to be" at the beginning, a modifier only needs to use its root form, as in Ip puko goka. However, if the sentence is complex, or if the verb is at the end at all, the modifier must have the -ti ending to signify that it refers to the noun before it. Likewise, if a modifier modifies the verb, it must have the -to ending to signify that it refers to the verb after it. Therefore, it is easy to end up with a sentence like
Syla liniti akam liniti pukal liniti linito dulep / The little girl reads a little of the little build in the little book
