Starts: Now! Ends: August 20th, 8pm Central Arts and crafts has broken out among the guards, as many of the tea pots came in as pure white with no real patterns but in facinating shapes, so a few of the queens artists have brought their paints and are leading Teapot painting lessons.  RulesColor your teapots as you desire. use the form you can enter for someone else LINK to your Teapots Feel free to add edits! The best tea pots will be up for a special prize You may color as many as you want, and each one counts as a raffle ticken for another set of prizes. Do not claim template as your own art -- its only for this event.

One of the greatest memories I have is watching the sunset over the rock formations in Utah. A great deal of my artwork reflects that moment. I'm also a big tea drinker and I've always wanted a teapot that would both revive those wonderful moments while backpacking and also have the right mood to fit the tea. I love working with color and in this case I had an opportunity to run a little wild with the cloud colors. The inspiration I had for the sunset portion actually comes from my home itself. I have a great view of the bright sunsets with their oranges and pinks every evening. I've always wanted to capture those beautiful colors and let the rest of the world experience them.

So I decided to color a teapot the way I saw the sky. And I added some shading . . .
