Age Does it matter?? really is it just a number, and love is love or is it something that is sickening and wrong! Discuss please I would Like to know because I want to see everyone's view on it before I actually say something about my relationshi[ =

Age does matter. To what extent it matters greatly depends on the people involved, what their goals are, and what stage of life they are in.
For example, I don't know anyone who would say it's ok for a 30 year old man to date a 10 year old girl. At certain ages people are not fully developed and may not be able to make informed decisions. That's why we have statutory rape laws.
But that 20 year age difference won't be as bad once the girl has matured. So no one would mind if say a 60 year old man was dating a 40 year old woman. Same age difference as the first example, but now both people are mature, informed, adults.
Age issues can be a problem even when both people are legal adults too, but that is something that depends on the people involved. For example, a 20 year old woman who wants to start a career, get married, buy a house, and have children might not want to date a 70 year old man simply because he is in another stage of life and might not have those same goals at that point.
The younger the people are, the more age matters. A ten year age difference is nothing to older adults. But your average 15 year old and 25 year old, on the other hand, don't have much in common, don't have the same goals, and aren't in the same stage of life.

well its pointless now we pretty much just broke up ( were forced to)..
the age was
me 19 her 14/15 (she is almsot 15) = and i just turned 19

Once you turn 18, you are labeled an "adult". There's a law that prohibits any adult being with a minor (maybe only sexually?) when there is a five or more year difference.
While she is 14 and you are 19, there is a five year difference and you can be clarified at a ***** ><

Nikolita Sorry to hear you two broke up. whee well right now we are in middle of getting ack together kinda.... her mom said this morning that she might let me stay with them ( im like in middle of trying to find a place) I was originally gonna move in but something went wrong i guess.... then this morning she said that she is pms'ing and she might change her mindafter its over just depends
