August 15th - August 19th, 11pm EST The Queen herself grows jealous of the popularity of the Tulgey Woods Teaparty, and wishes to invite the two best dressed of Sandpainters to have tea at a party of her own – with a “Get out of an execution free” card, to prevent them from fearing about losing their heads. The best designs will be turned into real sandpainters. What you need to do:Your mission is to dress up nicely, and try to have a wonderlandian flavor. However, the rest is up to you. Rules:- Youare just dressing them up, not changing who they are -- you may add hair, but do not change their colors. For a Leopard cannot change its spots. - Avoid cosplays -- they should be your original designs - You can ONLY USE THIS TEMPLATE FOR THIS CONTEST. If you are found using it anywhere else, even your quests, you risk getting grey or blacklisted. - Do NOT add mutations such as adding wings or altering their feet, changing the type of tail (you may choose to end it in something other then hair however) or altering the horns into a different type. Try to limit yourself to clothing, jewelry, items, and hair. - Once again I must point out that should you sketch over the pet, you cannot use this artwork outside of the contest, or else it will be considered art theft. These painters WILL belong to someone at the end of the event, after all. -you are able to enter once for both genders, but only once for each design. YOU CAN: Describe your design rather then write it, draw your own picture for a base, print the pictures out and do the design in fingerpaints: Its all up to you! Dont feel limited by lack of Drawing skills or art programs. You could make them out of clay if you want. biggrin Forms: Name of the Sandpainter (What would you name this dragon?): Painters Gender (so we know what your talking about): Image: Design Name: Description: Additional Notes:

The Master Of Cards Twins Name of the Sandpainter (What would you name this dragon?): Quicksilver Painters Gender (so we know what your talking about): Male Image: Design Name: The Master Jack of Clubs Description: This is based off of the patchwork designs. In this photo The painter had dreadlocks with blue beads in them matching the patchwork colors. He has both a patchwork scarf and two patchwork neck bands, one of them is a tie. On his vest he has small laves at the bottom, which my might be a little hard to see on the drawing Throughout the patchwork design there are the club design (some of these I didn't put on the small marks cuz i couldn't fit them but they would be in the final design) He has toeless/fingerless gloves also in patchwork. He wears patchwork shorts following this same design. He has small silver rings pierced on his wings and the webbing on his tail. He also has a string pierced into his tail that has a few beads at the end in the blue colors of his patchwork, at the end it a is a charm in the shape of clubs. He also is holding a hand of clubs cards. Additional Notes: The cheater of cheats. He is the true Jack of Clubs, beware his slight of hand. For he's the maddest of the mad in Wonderland. Name of the Sandpainter (What would you name this dragon?): Ummagumma Painters Gender (so we know what your talking about): Female Image: Design Name: The Queen of Diamonds Description: This is a twin design so you will noticed many similarities. This time she has a skirt and a belly shirt. He has dreads that are similar to the first painter's with the beads, except her dreadlock color is darker. She also has another dangly piercing like the first painter except hers has her color and her diamond. She also has her wings pierced which might be hard to see. Additional Notes: The gypsy Queen of Diamonds, allusive in these lands. On one special day she will visit her long lost sister. The Queen Of Hearts sitting down for her afternoon tea will meet her match.

Name of the Sandpainter (What would you name this dragon?): Valor Painters Gender (so we know what your talking about): Male Image: Design Name: Elegant Tapestry Description: Black top that cuts off just below the chest. It has frills on the neck piece which is snugly secure around his neck with a bright blue cravat. Bright blue translucent lace decorates the top where it is cut open to reveal the design on his chest, the shoulders (no sleeves). He wears black shorts that have the bright blue translucent lace on the bottoms. A check board pattern can be found on the top of both the top and shorts (on the shorts it can either be a belt or an actual design. Either or is fine). Various gold braclets decorate his tail as well as one gold anklet on each of his ankles. He has three golden earrings on each fin-like ear. Draped loosely around his wings is a translucent bright blue cloth which is some what tattered, which is to be expected after various flights. Tied near the end of his tail is a translucent bright blue bow, the tails of it be tattered as well. Golden tear-drop shaped pieces hang from the end of the top. His hair is black, long in the back with a slight spike-ish look to it. He has short bangs, as seen in the reference. Additional Notes: The cravat can be translucent as well. I made it solid so you know what the color blue is used for the other parts. >w< <3

Name of the Sandpainter: Astaire (Kudos to those who get the reference :'D) Painters Gender: Male Image: Design Name: Bringin' the Ritz to Wonderland Description: This was originally supposed to be something similar to the Victorian style clothing as seen in the characters of Wonderland, however I was listening to ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’ at the time when I was designing this outfit and the song seem to take an influence in the drawing. So it turned out to be somewhat of a blend of 1800s/early 1900s fashion. xD;; He wears a burgundy ( #450a15) under shirt, rolled up slightly at the sleeves, with a goldenrod ( #ca7c19) cravat/tie. This is layered by a black/dark gray vest, which is layered by a long, sleeveless, high-colored, dark brown ( #190d08) coat, with spades of various sizes scattered over. The inside of the coat is burgundy with dark-goldenrod checks, separated by gold trim. You can see the end of the vest covering the top of his dress pants, which have dark-goldenrod pinstripes on it. (Yes, I know my pinstripes look like fail xD) He has, what appears to be, a silver chain for a pocket watch looped out of his left breast pocket. Four other silver chains also branch out from the corner of the pocket and sling around to the back of the coat. His hat (what was supposed to be an altered top-hat that managed to come out looking more like a fedora) is a dark brown ( #190d08) with an elongated, burgundy ( #450a15) ribbon that’s tied at the base, while the end of it is dangled over the edge of the hat. He has long, white hair, which is tied back in a ponytail by a goldenrod ribbon. Side bangs are on both sides of his face. Optional:(Things I considered might make the design too complex)Not sure if foot-wear was allowed, but since I fail at drawing feet, I gave him black shoes with white spats. There is also an Ace of Spades card poking out of his left breast pocket. I originally had in mind to have a long, burgundy ribbon (similar to the one on his hat) draped randomly over his tail, but on account of the tail came out of proportion on the sketch, I just left it out xD;; Additional Notes: I drew this sketch by scratch without anything to trace from, so if it looks out of proportion compared to the male wyvern base, it probably is XD;;;

Name of the Sandpainter: Artemis Painters Gender: Male Image:
Design Name: "The Mad Jester" Description: His outfit is as mad as he is--it looks as if he simply added whatever he wanted, paying no regard to rationality. His clothes are primarily a few specific colors--dark red, black, gold, and white. Any pattern can be found anywhere. Crazy is back in style!
Abit deeper in detail: He wears a sort of longcoat with ruffled sleeves and puffy shoulders. It is decorated in many patterns, and made of fine velvet. Under the criss-crossed lacings of this coat is a fancy white shirt with a red stripe running down the middle. Around his neck is a courted ruff, laced and proper. His pantaloons are white, and his wide boots fade from gold to black, with a red heart on the rims. He wears a joker's hat with a feather humorously placed in the back. He wears a black choker with an amber stone. His hair is long and snow white.
Oh, and don't forget the merrily tinkling bells at the end of his hat! x'D
The design is general--he is simply jester themed. Clothes can vary, as well as placement and patterns. Additional Notes: FUN.

Name of the Sandpainter (What would you name this dragon?): Victoria Painters Gender (so we know what your talking about): female Image: Design Name: Victorian tea Description: Cream underdress with black lace over. Large Victorian hat in black with pink roses and white feathers over curly hair of brown that matches the lighter tone of the scroll pattern on her wings. The scribbles on her wing-hand are meant to be a black lace glove. For jewelry she wears a golden chain with a cameo pendant and twin strands of pearls on her tail and ankle. The following images are the references I used in the design: Cameo necklace; the dress, only with the high neck of the hat ref pic; The hat; lace shawl didn't include it since I thought it would be too much, but it could be an alternate pattern for the lace overdress. Additional Notes: I originally worked with brown and cream to match her coloration but think the black would give a more interesting contrast than the dark brown.

Name of the Sandpainter: LorenaPainters Gender: FemaleImage: Design Name: "The Simple, but Classy Gal"Description: She's got the shimmer and glamour down. With a long, elegant angel blue scarf, and a light, see through, silk gown. It's caffe creme color adds a warm and inviting touch. The blue scarf contrasts nicely with the rest of the outfit, I think, and adds a lot of color. Like a bright pink frog sticking out among a sea of green ones. It's bright, and soft blue complete with shimmer, that wraps up and around her tail. The accessory on the side of her head, stays on with a simple, small clear string. Long black strings sway around and below the ruby accessory, and are tipped with a heart, spade and ace. To show the Queen she cares. Three feathers top it off, to show elegance and classic style.
It's classy. Not overly flashyAdditional Notes: The grey background is so you can see the white shimmer/sparkle type things on and around the dress and scarf. The scarf as well is see through, but not as much as the silk gown. And this was fun! :3

Name of the Sandpainter: Serevino Painters Gender: Male Image: Design Name: All Dress in Rags and Feeling GREAT Description: A tattered green coat, complimented by ripped dark pants held up by a greenish brown belt with a cloth hanging loosely from it. Two square tail bracelet and an assortment of brown-fox tails, brown dog tails, and brown rabbit feets accessories to compliment his frills. Last, but not least, a blue-white lily to give the Queen. Additional Notes: I couldn't help but imagine the noble man(or woman) that got one of the invitations dreading going to this tea party so much, they did not believe the “Get out of an execution free” card, and 'frisbee' the invitation out the window and take off towards the other side of wonderland. Said invitation would therefore hit, in its goal-less flight, a wanderer on the side of the head and said being saying 'hey why not' and going to the tea party in his best rags to give the queen quiet a shocking surprise X3

Well it was a hard choice but Mindsend and I finally came to an agreement on the winners.
For the Female the winner is Quiftan's Honeysuckle
As for the male that was a bit tougher and in the end I couldn't decide which one to do, So I'm going to make them both.
The winners are Aniira's Artemis and Flying Foxx's Astaire
Congratulations to the winners and great work all who participated!
