Seriously.
If it's even approaching that time of month be cautious. Get those tampons that come in mini sizes so you can keep one in your pocket if you don't have a purse... preferably super size so you don't have to worry about it leaking even if you don't need super.
Panty liners are your friends. You don't need to ruin a single pair of underwear. If you accidentally get it, wash them with shampoo directly on the spot and then throw them in the washing machine..
Never ever use scented tampons, they're terrible for you.
Always always change them when you should, again terrible for you if you don't.
Also seriously there shouldn't be a smell and you shouldn't have to constantly worry about it. It's not that huge a deal if you just man up (harr harr) and use super tampons when you're wearing something nice, and change it like you would a regular one. They're not very big at all in comparison to the regular ones.
Also pads are the devil thanks. That's why you smell.

I just use tampons.
Then I sleep with pads.
Cause no ones seeing me, and then I shower in the morning.
Voila.

Yeah, I'm 19, but I just don't like the idea of tampons. I just use pads. They don't bother me, and I've never had a problem with them.
And they don't remind me of diapers at all. They're thin. And they definitly don't make me look any different.
Also, I've never had a problem with any smell. That's just weird. Maybe you should just douche.

In Time I Want to be Your Best Friend I've tried to use a super tampon, and it hurt like hell. Regulars work fine for me. And I always wear a panty liner even if I'm not on my period, because sometimes there's discharge and even though it's not as bad as blood, I still don't want it on my undies. Also kind of off topic, but the first day of my period this month, I had really bad cramps, but it was only the first day. I never used to get cramps at all, and then they pretty much got worse each month, just on the starting day. Eastside Love is Living on the Westend
