Gender: Female
Personality & General Concept:Terra comes across as a very serene, gentle yet stern goddess. Creating and nuturing the life and world she creates with equal parts tender care and discipline. She prefers very little interference on her world (much like to Edo's deity from
TNG Episode 8). However, her laws are not nearly as harsh and the punishments are fair in her eyes. She isn't one to demand worship or fealty, her creations may ask for her blessing or advice as they choose or not.
The most common conduit for belief for her creatures is as the world they live on. She prefers to answer the questions of her followers through natural events (weather changes, temperature, etc.) rather than speaking directly to them. This has lead to the common belief among other gods that she has lost her voice. In truth, her voice is very weak from not having spoken in such a long time; partly due to spending most of her time as a nebula.
With other gods first impressions mean very little to Terra due to the infinite type of lifespan they live. She believes that just like children, the gods themselves can grow and change if they so choose. Terra is very quiet natured compared to some of the other gods, she will listen to the views of all and take them into consideration before making a decision. This has lead to her being a mediator of sorts between the other divine, they are free to come to her if they are unable to find common ground on an issue. If you are upset or lonely, her home is always open to offer company and a listening ear. She welcomes others who come in friendship, those who come with hostile intent might find themselves caught up by her sentient plant pets.
Her powers are mostly unlimited when on her own world, her main gifts are:
Warmth of the Sun: Ability to coax plants to grow or flowers to bloom. It starts off very weak, allowing only a little growth at first and more as she gains power. If this is performed on another deity's planet her relation to the deity (friend, enemy, etc.) has an effect on how much growth there would be. For example, if its a deity she was on friendly terms with there could be more growth than if it was an enemy planet.
Animate Plants: Ability to bring plants to life; sentient plants are able to move, will follow suggestions and have a small level of emotional depth to them. Plants that have been sentient longer eventually can develop minor telepathic bonds with Terra. She is only able to sustain a handful of sentient plants at a time. Any permanently sentient plants must reside on her planet, off her planet any plant granted the gift must remain near her for it to be active.
Natural Occurance: Since Terra usually does not speak, she will answer others with this power. Usually its a small gust of wind, the movement of a plant or a change of temperature to those in proximity of her.
