Hey everyone! I'm writing 'cause I'm a little worried about the anime. I love the InuYasha anime, perhaps more than the manga (although I haven't read all of the manga) But I like the anime art, and the story line (does it keep to the manga? because if it does, then I definitely like the anime more...but if it doesn't...I guess I should get reading) but for the Final Chapter anime, are they going to include everything from the manga? Because I think it would be a waste of time to just sum it up without including everything the fans are expecting. (I stopped reading the manga at book 25...so I don't know what I would miss)
So:
Did the old InuYasha anime cut things from the manga?
Will the Final Chapter include most from the manga, or just be a stupid sum up?

Hmm, the anime if I recall didn't cut much out from the manga. But it did skew how Kikyou, Inuyasha, and Kagome where portrayed. Kikyou is a lot angrier than she was in the manga, and Kagome's characterization is a bit different, a bit more clingy if you ask me. But instead, it added to the series, I did the math once and the anime is about 1/4 to 1/3 filler episodes, that didn't occur in the manga. Of yeah, one arc got moved around, the one with the peach tree and the sage, in the manga in happened right before they meet Sango.
Well we don't know yet, they have to cram about 20 volumes worth of material into 26 episodes. So it's going to be difficult. There are several arcs that can be shorted, and condensed, the dragon scale tessaiga arc for one. If you read those arcs, you probably want it condensed, it drags on and on. I assume they'll re-pace the story, so we receive the nice concise story we wanted in the first place. If it follows, the manga's pacing, let's ust say, it'll last at least 67 episode. That's following the previous series, formula of 3 chapters an episode, and one for more fillery lighthearted chapters.
I need a life. I'll go play some Final Fantasy or Zelda, where noticing small details is normal for a fan.

OMG!!!!!! the first three new episodes of Inuyasha: the finaly act are soooooo awesome if you havent watched it it's on www.hulu.com
