Um, so yeah. :/
My names Shannon and I'm 'only' 14 years old, a freshmen in high school. I've been told that's young for a Dir en grey fan.
I've been listening to Dir en grey for 3 years now, At least once a day. I only get extremely competitive when someone claims they like the band more and knows more about them. I'm obsessive, it takes my mind off of shitty things and gives me something to concentrate on. I was the only one in my school district to be a fan of them for a long while, eventually my friends grew more fond of them and a few other people at my school discovered them, not many though.

Hello everyone. Name's Britt, but you guys can also call me Ruki if you really want to.
I've been a fan of Dir en grey for going on two years. I started out hearing their older albums, but I love every album they've put out, especially Uroboros.
As you can see, Shinya's my most favorite member, but I love them all as a band. They all have talents to contribute to the band. And each unique talent make them loveable in some way or form.
I'm 18 years of age, but I don't let that keep me from listening to Dir en grey. I say, no limit to the age on when to start listening to them. Sure, some songs are a bit on the edgy side- as well as PVs such as Agitated Screams of Maggots and Obscure- but it's up to the person if they want to watch them or not.
Anyway, that's a bit about me. ;D I'm open to making more Dir en grey friends and am looking forward to having a great time here~

Hi, so i am N4K4SH1M4.
I started to like Dir en grey two years ago. I have seen Cage PV first, then Saku PV.
I like songs like Garden, Kiri to mayu,Yurameki, Raison Detre , Yokan and Bottom of the death Valley. I loove Kaoru's guitar solos and also Toshiya bass solos.
I am from Slovakia in Europe(maybe some of you know it, xDD), what is small country without many diru fansxDD. So i'd like to meet Dir en grey fans from all over the space

What got me into Dir en Grey? Me watching random visual kei videos and stumbling upon the Obscure PV and then the uncensored verson. I fell in love with the grotesque brutality of it all.

Why does it seem like this guild had died out a long time ago . . .?
I perfer to be called "Pawn", but "Hitsugi" or "Kumo works too. I'm currently in high school... but I do not believe that names nor ages are really that important.
I was stumbling through many Visual Kei artists, veiwing their most popular PVs to get an idea of how they sound. Most of them, I really couldn't stand nor like at all, so I found most Japanese bands to be overrated. One day, I decided to look up Dir en Grey, thinking that they must have been an overrated mainstream gothic-wannabe band, but going past my judements, I came across the Obscure PV and my life was then forever changed . . .
What I like love about them would have to be, well, everything; I love the videos, which inspires me tremendously. The styles they had were pretty kick-a** (although I've heard that they have moved out of the Visual Kei scene; but I still love them nonetheless). And most of all, I love their music. Each band member brings a most significant and interesting piece, which all comes together to create something godly. The lyrics are never happy, but focus more on taboos and other sorts of meloncholic topics, but they are so meaningful that they just pierce into your heart and overtake your soul. Their music style seems to sometimes switch up now and then, so I can never get bored of them, because there is always something to listen to.
My favorite songs would have to include Embryo and Obscure the most. I love Embryo with a passion, and how slow and sober it seems to sound, and the lyrics (more for the album version than the single version) are just . . . I can't explain, but I love them, and I love this song as a whole. Obscure has a sort of rythym and style that I just adore; I can never stop singing this song. I just really, really love it.
I haven't yet listened to all the albums, nor recieved any, so I can't say much here.
Love a lot of their PVs, such as Obscure and Zan. And oh! Now it's killing me... I also like the PV where the members walked through the walls and killed each other - what was that one again? I feel so brain-dead.
Favorite member? Oh, that's a hard one. I'll have to say Kyo, because I love his voice - so alluring. And I especially like how he is always trying to come off as being "creepy" or "scary", and he ends up being called "cute", and gets pissed. But I really like all of the members; they're all amazing.

my names steph, slovesk1717 is the screen name as you can see...i love dir en grey they're my favorite band. My favorite songs are Obscure, Merciless Cult, Umbrella, Saku, Higeki wa Mabuta Wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu and more lol. I found out about them just by buying their withering to death CD by random, hadn't even heard of them, but im glad that's the CD id chose that day. surprised Uhm i love all the members but i guess Kyo and Shinya are my favorites. I really want to see them in concert one day.
