As Hakubo walked into the Kage's office he looked around for the assistant who was no where to be seen. It was odd, there was almost ALWAYS someone in the Kage's building other then the Kage himself but this seemed to go against that rule. He ignored the odd feeling that he was getting and continued into the Kage's office, his Grandfathers. "You here, It's me Hakubo" He said looking around, only to then see the Kage sitting in his chair behind a mountain of paperwork a worried look on his face. "Whats wrong?" Hakubo asked as he walked up to the desk. "Its been taken, by those Damn sound ninja!" He yelled slamming his aged fist onto the desk; which even for a man of his age ad physical condition made a oddly large crashing sound.
"What was?" He asked almost instantly knowing what he was talking about; His mom and dad told story's about the Spear that was buried deep within the confines of the village hidden within the stone, he had heard dozens of small folk lore stories each of which had the spear do something different, but they all had the same base idea; it was powerful, and it was not something you wanted in the hands of someone like the Otokage or the Sound village.
"So the Spear is in the Sound village?" He asked trying to not sound too suspicious; which was easy to do with the Kage in his current mood. "Yes and i have a squad of ninja ready to go tare the entire place apart to get it; The alliance is not completed yet; so i can still do whatever i please to those stealing bastards!" Hakubo then raised his hands up in front of him. "Grandpa, if you send a large squad the Otokage will most likely just hide the spear and you will just loose men, i will go" .... "You?" He asked looking at Hakubo; he always had avoided work so why was he offering to do something now. "I never really did anything for you before so i guess this is enough to make up for it, a stealth mission so you could say" He said nodding slightly.
The Kage from the Stone paused and remained silent for over a full minute. "Fine" He said gruffly. Which was as far from opposite from his normal caring voice as you could get. He then stood up and walked over to Hakubo and placed his hand on his side which caused him to wince. A green aura then coated his side and the wounds slowly healed. "I have sent a message to the Kage of the Fall village about you and your friends.... mishap" He said referring to the face that they had become missing ninja. "We have a plan that will help a bit" He said before walking back over to his desk and slowly lowering himself back into his seat. "Just don't go get yourself killed" "You have no idea how much paperwork you need to do after a village steals from you" he said with a sigh, an extremely angry sigh; but at least he held his temper. After that was said and done the conversation between the two of them continued for a few hours before the kage motioned for him to leave with his hand.
With that Hakubo turned and walked out of the Office heading back to the village Gates.
