It was a relatively warm day on the docks. However, that didn't seem to prevent one breeder from getting to work. The infamously hard working redhead had decided today would be a day to work on sprucing up her place of business. She had already done so much with the place, but today was dedicated more to the smaller tasks. At the moment, she was kneeling down on the ground in front of her shack-like breeding facility, planting some simple flowers she had purchased in town. Next to her sat not one, but two black Growlithes. They looked like they could be twins, except for the fact one had brown markings, and the other had yellow markings. Each one took turns curiously sniffing the blooms that Phoebe worked with. It smelled nice, but each of the Growlithes couldn't help but sneeze every so often. "You two should stop bein' so silly!" the breeder couldn't help but giggle teasingly at the two Pokemon. The brown marked Growlithe tilted her head to the right, and the yellow marked Growlithe tilted its head to the left. Both let out a puppy-grunt. With a gentle sigh, the red head reminded herself "At least yer not diggin' holes. Grateful that yer not a digger, Dakota!" She momentarily pondered if either Vegas or Bubblegum (in either Growlithe or Electrike form) were considered diggers, but found that no answer was really readily available.

Aurore had to say, it was a nice day out, not that life in Katarina wasn't usually nice if not a little boring. But today seemed especially nice. She had her younger canine by her side, and Sholto seemed VERY happy to be there and not in his pokeball. For some reason he didn't like them, mostly because Raikou didn't, and his breeder didn't force him into one, but ah well not all pokemon could choose their lifestyles. Either way, the Electrike was bouncing around her feet, shaking his puppy-butt to and fro at the excitement of being in TOWN for once.
He'd never been to town, as Aurore usually only took her father's pokemon with her into town, and usually only to help her carry groceries home. But today was just a leisure day. For some reason, the salty smell of the docks called to her, even if they made her homesick for her own region of Sinnoh, knowing one of the ships in the shipyard went there. But that was just an excuse to go, she figured, shaking her head at her silliness and forcing her way past the old memories. She could talk to people coming from the region and find out what was going on that way. Things were always happening at the docks. But as they entered the shipyard, Sholto suddenly sniffed something, his nose twitching and quivering with excitement, and he bounded off as he was prone to doing. The unfortunate fact in this was that they weren't at home, where he could do that without getting lost.
Running after him haphazardly, Aurore followed the white pup until he stopped and started sniffing and snuffling at a Growlithe puppy, with a cropped tail and unusual markings to boot. Not just one, but TWO! Now THIS got Aurore excited. What strange markings, how did they breed that way? What kind of trainer had such an interesting pokemon like this? Looking around she smiled, blushing with slight embarassment as Sholto began to walk around the flowerbed and in it, trying not to step on flowers as he went but sniffing each one in turn before going back to the Growlithe pups.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! Sholto, stop messing with other people's things! You were supposed to stay with ME, silly," she scolded, unable to keep the smile off her face as Sholto bounded over to her and propped himself up on his hind legs to lick her face and tell her about their new friends he'd found.

The black and brown Growlithe perked up for a moment before the current company came her way. Her nose twitched and her tail nub began to wag as hard and fast as it could. She could tell something was coming, and she wasn't certain, but it was a semi-familiar something.
The black and yellow Growlithe didn't seem as interested in the pending company. It continued to sniff flowers and sneeze until there was a nose sniffing at its rear. Glancing up from the flower it had been sniffing, it found an Electrike attached to the nose at its rump. Now that its attention had been grabbed, it began to join the sniffing party, which now consisted of two other canine Pokemon sniffling each other happily.
Dakota's manner of sniffing was akin to something such as "Oh hey, I know you! I met you before! I KNOW you!" The Growlithe remembered the day when she found Vegas (as he was now called), and this Pokemon was one of the others she had wanted to play with that day. She bounced around, her upper body frequently being lowered to the ground, signaling she wanted to play.
The thing that had gotten Phoebe's attention from her current tasks was not the fuss the puppies (and Bubblegum) were making, but rather the mild fuss that the trainer made as she approached the area. Glancing up, she initially found sun in her eyes, so the nearly topless girl had to shade her eyes with her arm for a moment before her water-blue eyes adjusted. As her eyes adjusted, she noted that there was an Electrike on the premises that was not hers. Vegas had already been sent away to her parents' farm for some extra training, so this was obviously the property of the visitor. Pushing herself up off the ground and dusting off her legs, she made her way towards the visitor.
"Sorry if m'pups got yer Pokemon riled up, Miss!" she greeted.

"No, no! It's alright! I'M sorry Sholto just came over here like this and disturbed all of you! He's not used to roaming around in the city yet...." she smiled, letting the white Electrike sniff and nudge the two Growlithes to his heart's content.
As the one Growlithe recognized him, he cocked his head and sniffed her again, then did a little jumping dance of sorts as he got excited, barking and yiffing his response. 'I KNOW YOU TOO! You were with Dreamer! Oh boy ohboy, we couldn't play then, but do you want to play NOW?' Crouching so that his fluffy backside was up in the air, he spread his forepaws apart as if he was going to pounce on the Growlithe happily. Which he probably was.
Smiling down at the interactions of the pups, Aurore looked up to their trainer and held out her hand.
"I'm Aurore Langford, my family and I run a daycare and health center just outside of town. This little troublemaker is Sholto, my other two are at home and he doesn't always act as mature as they do," she laughed happily, as Sholto made his move and pounced on the playful Growlithe, sending them tumbling over one another in a heap of puppy fur.

The young woman shrugged her freckled shoulders at the visitor as she seemed to apologize profusely for visiting. "Naw, I wouldn't be in business if I got upset at people stoppin' by! We love it when people stop by!" She grinned a bit, then looked at the two puppy Pokemon and the one immitation.
The true black Growlithe bounced around some more, as if agreeing to the play, before she got tackled in a friendly fashion. Her whole butt was now shaking from happiness as she wriggled her way from under the other Pokemon and began to chew and tug at his ear. Finally! Someone who knew how to play the right way!
Now, Bubblegum was watching the action curiously, seeming to not mind that Dakota had found a friend. While the two rumbled and tumbled about, something curious happened to the black and yellow Growlithe. It glowed slightly, and its form changed quite drastically. Soon enough, it was no longer a Growlithe watching the pair of puppies, but an Electrike with markings matching Sholto's, except the new Electrike was blue instead of white.
"Bubblegum!" Phoebe called out. The newly transformed Electrike perked its ears and began to trot towards the two trainers.
The freckled girl turned back to Aurore and gave the proper introductions. "Name's Phoebe! Phoebe McPherson! The Growlithe playin' with yer Sholto is named Dakota. And this one..." Her voice dwindled for a moment as she poked the blue Electrike on the nose. "...is Bubblegum. It's a Ditto." Chuckling lightly, she added "Oh, and this is our lil' Feebas farm." From the front of the shack-like building, it didn't really seem like a farm, or a place where Feebas lived. It just looked like a really cheap home.
