• • • The 8th Annual Ball is recruiting any one, no matter how skilled, new, or old! It’s a great way to make yourself known to the community instead of just doing a lone roleplay thread or art shop. The Gaian Ball needs and wants any form of help that we can receive, whether it is your suggestions, art work, or even just constructive criticism. The Gaia Ball is a user event, meaning that we want suggestions from the Gaia community. You'll feel welcome in our guild in no time at all!

So, if you’re a writer, artist, digital artist, manga artist, advertiser, bumper, fundraiser, planner, or just someone looking for something to do, and you are interested in joining, then go ahead and join our guild and wiki. Then, jump right in and start planning.

Basically, this is a way to give back to the community, find great friends on gaia and display your abilities!

• Q) What is the Annual Gaian Ball?
A) The Annual Gaian Ball is an event made by users for the users of Gaia Online. It's about hanging out and having fun, RPing a bit and getting to know the other users in this huge community we call Gaia. The Annual Ball guild organizes the theme, art, and plot aspects of each of the rooms in the Ball for the enjoyment of the other users.

• Q) What do you mean by "rooms" of the Annual Ball?
A) Ever since the second Annual Ball, the Gaian ball has not only been one giant roleplay forum, but indivual roleplay threads also. Each “room” is an individual roleplay thread consisting of multiple roleplayers. Each room also features its own miniature plot line and art that are an extention of the annual ball’s overall theme.

• Q) So what exactly are you guys asking for from me?
A) Your thoughts and ideas are some of the most valuable things that you can offer. However, if you possess other talents in areas such as art or writing, those would be great assets to the Annual Ball as well.

• Q) Where do I go to help out with the Ball?
A) Head on down to our guild and headquarters called the “8th Annual Ball” or just follow this link.

• Q) How can I help?
A) We are doing general planning for now, but once things are prepared, the guild becomes very busy! Some areas that you can work in are Art, Writing and Plot, Fundraising, Advertising, and more! Go here to find out what committees need members to help them out!

• Q) What do you mean by "committees"?
A) To keep things organized, we have committees or teams for each extra aspect to the ball such as Art or Fundraising. They basically brainstorm for ideas and put them into play during the ball.

• Q) When is the actual Ball going to take place?
A) Seeing as the ball takes a huge amount of collaboration, planning, and work, the 8th Annual Ball will happen sometime in 2010.

• Q) Will I get a free item if I help out or participate?
A) The mods have not given out any items after the second annual ball, so don’t count on it.

• Q) Are there any other planning places for the Ball?
A) We have made our own Wiki for the 8th Annual Ball. It can be found here.
Please make sure that you are a member of the guild before joining the Wiki page. Also, many of the Guild members use instant messengers such as AIM or Meebo for easier contact.

• Q) Is this an official event from the Gaia Online Admin?
A) This isn't an official event from Gaia, since it is user-run. We are merely supported by the admins who so kindly grant us our very own forum each year.
