QuikSilver989 Blackrose01111 Champloo means like a mix so it's really like A Mix of Samurai's but that's what my friend said he's correct. Champloo means mix anf if you think about it for a bit, it'll make sense. Take Jin, for example. He's a wild spirit who follows no rules but his own, and there's no telling what he will do. He's unpredictable, like a bunch of things "mixed" together.

Jin is the guy with the glasses who is quiet and follows bushido.
and 'champloo' (or 'champuru') does mean a mix of something. -]

Ladyknight1991 i think that it just means somebody in shinichiro watanabes naming the show department(if there is such a thing) is laughing their asses off rofl while we try and figure out the title question my dad calls it samurai champoo sweatdrop You've got it made...my folks asked me one night what I was watching. When I told them, they just said "Oooo....kay!" They've given up trying to figure out what I watch.

Samurai- is the warrior.
Champloo- means mix or mixed
so technically it means...
Mixed Warrior or Mixed Samurai

Champloo is actually the word 'champuru' which means hyprid or to mix. I think it came from Okinawa. I have the whole info on it somewhere just gotta find it... sweatdrop

YOU ARE ALL WRONG!
Champloo is actually a type of vegetable dish that contains cabbage and a variety of veggies. It is most common on the island of Okinawa which is located off the coast of Japan. You probably got mix out of champloo because it is a a dish that has a MIX of vegetables in it.
I got the information from my mom who was born and raised in Okinawa.
