Shikai- this zanpacto has a duel personality, a combination of demonic and angelic.
Release phrase:"Satsu ken fuubi, Mitsukiatenma" (split and conquer). The sword splits and becomes two different swords.
Powers of the swords-
Attack no.1:Demon strike: An unseen force sent from a swing of the black blade, that is strong enough to cut into the target.
Attack no.2:Angels embrace: When sliced by the white blade you loose sence of pain, also causing your wound to bleed,without clotting, no matter how small.

Bankia-Basically this is a 6' zanpacto with 5' being the blade 1'for the hilt/handle. The blade is almost paper thin.
Attack no.1:Demonic blade slice: Much like the attack from shikai only much more powerful, plus it appears as a thin white line flying at the opponent. If not blocked can do serious damage.
Attack no.2:Angels blessing: An attack that when used the opponent sees a bright light that with what looks like an angel. While that confuses them they are actually getting cut 100 times in a second. Very high level move and only a master of this bankai can achieve it. The attack is powerful but if a skilled swordsmen isn't fooled it can be stopped easily. This attack is purely for finishing a weakened opponent to guarantee it hits. The downside and side effects are that the user can only perform this once per bankai and weakens the user knocking them out of bankai state.

Personality:He isn't hard to get along with, but even as kind as he may be he doesn't really trust that easily. He can be your best friend or your worst enemy. He is very ambitious, he practices everyday. He doesn't give up or willing to back down from a fight. He is more than willing to risk his life to help a friend or comrade. He tends to leave others behind, just to protect them. He strives to be strong enough to protect people close to him. Plus he loves a good fight. He respects his elders or superiors, but wants to be able to be his own boss.
Biography/History:He grew up on the outskirts of Karakura town with his mother, Mayo, and little sister,Natsumi.He never got to know his father and all his mother could tell Ryou about him is that he was a great man. They all lived in a very big house, apparently his father and grandfather built the house together. When Ryou was a little boy he could see ghost. He met his Grandfather that way, however his grandfather didn't let him know who he was.(It was only later on in his life he realized who he was talking to.) His mother just thought he had imaginary friends.His mother gave birth to his little sister, which that day he vowed to be the man of the house and care for his mother and sister. When he reach High school he was carrying his sister on his back everyday and realized that his sister could see the dead as well. By this time he had also had a chance to witness a hollow attack. This is what lead him to want to always be close to his sister so he can try to defend her if the hollows were to attack again. They both went to a private school. One day on their daily routine, they were on their way back home from school when Ryou hears a vicious and monstrous roar. He took off at a full sprint with his sister on his back.(This wasn't too difficult since Ryou has made sure to take part in Track, Wrestling, Basic Fencing (doesn't have proper form), is even in an underground fighting league (to make extra money for his mother and sister). The hollow begins to close in on them Ryou begins to really feel the creatures reiastu slowing him down. Having his sister hold onto him very tightly he leaps over a fence into a back alley, a shortcut to his house. But all his effort was for nothing. The hollow popped in right in front of them just at the exit of the alley into the street. Tired Ryou did all he could do to help his sister. He put her down and told her to run and hide. With all his will he ran and tried to attack the hollow to distract it the best he could. For a normal human he did better than most against the beast but in the end he died. His sister was safe, a shinigami was finally able to get their but just a little to late to save Ryou. That same shinigami sent Ryou to the soul society. Even though he died and in the soul society he will never forget his mother and sister.
