First topic in the legion (hope I'm putting this thread in the correct place). alright here we go. This is the band I'm in. We call ourselves Still Starving. My bassist picked that name. Dunno what it means but I think it sounds cool. Here's our myspace page. I'm the guitarist. quick note: the songs on the myspace page are old. Prolly from 2005. This was before I joined the band. Before our new drummer and I joined, the band suffered from a severe case of mediocrity. We're gonna attempt to hit up the studio before the summer's over so be on the lookout. This was pretty okay, but for some reason, I just can't stand the vocalist's yelling. wouldn't it be cool if he tried to sing them instead of just screaming into the mic? Not many bands do that. It started off cool, though. Keep the music itself the way it is, but maybe write a melody for the lyrics?

I roll on d20s This was pretty okay, but for some reason, I just can't stand the vocalist's yelling. wouldn't it be cool if he tried to sing them instead of just screaming into the mic? Not many bands do that. It started off cool, though. Keep the music itself the way it is, but maybe write a melody for the lyrics? lolz no way his singing sucks. We do have this one song called "Take My Hand". Its a ballad in which he sings. Its not bad but its not all that spectacular either.

Not really my cup of tea though. You could be better, but you know this, otherwise you wouldn't be asking. I feel like you need more time to shed your influences and make something truely your own. The Oxbow link was more to say: "Look at what a group of people with a singular vision can achieve".
