Avery resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the gruff boy and instead nodded, waiting for him to get past his innocence [they'd already had agreed upon that, hadn't they? Silly boy, wasting time] and a grin caused her to wince again at his agreement.

"It's a date."

Flapping a hand at him a bit dismissively, Avery figured it was about time to find Kess and see if she could get her 'wounds' nursed. Probably not, but it was worth a shot.
