So... here is a work in progress, because I know Im not going to finish it in a timely manner. Its supposed to be of my own avatar. I keep changing my outfit before I get anything solid drawn, so thats probably my biggest problem, harhar..

I love a harsh critique, so don't hold back. Just keep in mind something like "this thing is crooked" wont help me as much as "this thing is crooked and here is a suggestion on how to fix it!"
I feel like her face is extremely crooked at this point, but I cant decide if it looks bad or if it gives her personality.
I did use a few references, but I think its far enough away from them that I shouldn't have to source them. Let me know if you disagree!
Ohyeah, Im working in black and white right now, but will add color later. Ive found that if I start out with color, my shades usually end up with little to no contrast.
aaand finally, thanks for looking, and thanks in advance for any crits you might give. (and a double thanks to Dagger1819 for inviting me right as I was looking for an art guild to join <3)
