It Seems Like Since I Part My Hair To The Side More And Theres More Hair On One Side Then The Other. The Side That Has More Puffs Up. And It Pisses Me Off Straighten it by layers.

Um... wow. You think THAT hair is thick? Have you seen my pictures? The ones AFTER I took hours straightening my hair layer by layer o_O Thats as thin as my hair gets honey.
Not discrediting you, but there really are some girls out there who would kill for volume like ours. Perhaps you could look into some styles with your bob that excentuate and flatter with the thicker hair? I did, I only mildly succeeded though >_<........ And I still have to straighten it to get the style I liked that I found >_< *wants to pull her hair up front "scene" style so badly!*

vodka machine ok, so my hair is like a afro-ish right now but i wanna strighten it ...should i strighten it with a strightener or chemicaly relax my hair? but i heard is u chemicaly relax ur hair u cant dye it 4 like 6 months and i want 2 dye my hair like black with white tips and a green streak ...would that even look nice do u think? IMO, chemicals are usually a thing to avoid. They tend to dry out your hair and leave a rather unhealthy feel to it over all. Depends on where you get it done I suppose, though. Some higher priced Salons may have better, gentler hair treatments than others. Definatley work on straightening it section by section though. *putting your hair that is not done in clips on the top of your head, and working small layer by layer for best straighting effect.* I didn't belive that would make a difference either until I tried it, and let me tell you, I've never felt my hair feel so magnificent. Now it is like an addiction to me. Lyzzi: So we are in the same boat? Urrrrrgh. I wish I wasn't so terrified that my hair might JUST NOT be able to pull off the look, or I'd attempt to cut it myself, I've done good at that before. Nevy: I've been using water before the eyeshaddow, and it really helps a lot. so does lotion (stingily applied) but I can't seem to find the "moisterizer" that you were mentioning. Is it just a general moisturizer for the face? Or somthing Specifically made for the eyes alone?

Intoxicating Happiness I was wondering if you could give some advice. I have dark blonde hair, and i'm going to get it cut to be easier to maintain than my current cut. I'm thinking about getting it cut about a little more than shoulder length, but my stylist has never done a "scene cut." I'm also thinking of dying it black later. Do you have any ideas? Thanks. well, if your stylist has never done a scene cut b4, you can bring them a photo of the hair cut you want. Just search "scene hair" on photobucket and look through all those pic and see if you find one that you just love. You could also tell them to give you a razor cut A- line with layers. If you tell them that b sure to tell them how long the longest and the shortest layer should be (example: longest at shoulder shortist and chin for the sides and longest ant the nape of your neck shortest at base of the crown in the back)

Lyzzi in a Teacup Um, I was thinking of dying my hair purple after I grow it out a little more, but I'm not sure if it will actually work for me. I was wondering what you think? Here's a pic of me: Oh, and this is the color purple I want: You skin is fair so that purple will be fine. Just dont go too dark.

Opaque_Spork I did my hair the way that you described before, and the red is washing out! It said Semi-permanent, but that was the most permanent fire engine red dye they had..... I'm so frustrated. you can try other stores and see if they have a permanet blood red dye, or you can settle for the bright red, either way, make sure it really is permenate.
A good way to keep red from fading is to wash it in cold water. take the rest of you shower first, the turn the water temp down to wash you hair. It last longer.

That way it's already mostly straight when you go for the flat iron.

Yes, Chem relaxers require you to let you hair rest 6 months after cuz It's very hard on your hair. A flat iron would be best (DON'T USE THE STRAIGHTENER IN WET HAIR!). I think the dye pattern you chose is very nice, I'd say go for it. If you can, go to a profecional to get it dyed tho. It's almost imposible to get it white at home.

xx-iiCrayola Condom I Have The Same Problem As You. It Seems Like Since I Part My Hair To The Side More And Theres More Hair On One Side Then The Other. The Side That Has More Puffs Up. And It Pisses Me Off I get that problem too. The best way to even that out is to put hair mousse in the flat side and blow dry it with the dryer pointing up then when the mousse is dry, tease it at the roots without spraying it first. after it gets to the volume you want spray it and then fluff it.
