well we all can do the typical marching but what about playing a song and doing a dance? at my school we have a song "liza jane" and during a 20 measure break we do a dance and sing and then we dance and play. it's really fun.

We're doing this short little dance thing after we play part of Video Killed The Radio Star...it's pretty hilarious. xd Before we play it, we have a 16-count free set and get to run around and dance and stuff.

I've done a lot of dancing in the middle of shows. My college last year had a lot. We had a salsa show, during which we learned how to salsa, of course. We had a lot of dancing in other places, where we either had to make something up or went off what the colorguard captain made for us.

Somewhat somewhat. Two years ago (Jazz show) We played "Hey Pachuco" (from the movie The Mask.) Two parts we did a little dance I guess you could call it that. Origanaly we were suppose to clap but the claps were on the offbeats so members kept screwing up.
This year I believe we will only high step for a section of the show. But we have a singing part in it also. Whatever entertains the crowd I guess.

We are getting a lot of viuals in our show this year. We have a western theme, nd we are doing character marching as well as at least 1 rhinosaurasan(my bd's best name for a rondejambe. It changed evry timeXD) and the brass are doing a plie(Plee-a, if you didn't reliaze). We also have horn pops and lunges and stuff too.

we did the fight club dance that almost every band does last year. I'm not sure about this year but.... The guard is learning straitleg marching with the whole band and also dancing...its going to be hell. this year compared to last year is gonna be fun but a little different.

We ALWAYS do a dance for our drills; it's a tradition! We did the dance from "Slumdog Millionaire" this year.

We always dance. Every week, every show. And usually in more than one song. (we even have a dance committee) It is soooo fun! It's got to be one of my favorite parts of marching band!

We always have a dance block in one or two of our shows for the season, where some of the bandsmen will dance, sometimes along with our dance team. Like this. In a lot of our shows the entire band has some kind of dance as well. They're not as elaborate as dance blocks because we're still playing during them.

This year our two main songs for the show where Dancing Queen and Thriller. Dancing Queen was a simple dance, not complicated at all but affective, expecially since everyone still had to play. But in Thriller then drummers and bass guitarist(w00t!) had a solo, so everyone put there instruments on the ground and did the Thriller dance. It was awesome to see the people in the stands chear and actually attempt to do the thriller dance along with us.
