Shaving down the dog. Seriously. x3 I'm sweating from the heat in the bathroom while little missy runs around the house, all happy at losing her weight of fur. D:

95% done before a bath. Got too warm to finish. Chillin' in front of my fan. Even got lots of dog fur stuck on your skin, in and on your clothes, in your eyes, etc? D: Itches, doesn't it? And you can't brush it off.

Aw. At least your dog feels better.

At the lonely end of the rink...
I've never had to shave one of the dogs. My parents always just took our pets to the groomer. I also think I would hurt my dogs if I ever attempted at shaving them. D;

She was. Running around the house with her tail waking.

And I went to college for this. o: So I had all the tools and know all the procedures.
Clippers don't hurt them. Even if you use it between their feet pads. Less frightening than with the scissors, I find.

Oh okay, then I can understand how it would be all right for you to properly groom your dog since you went to college for that sort of thing. 3nodding

My dog won't go anywhere things that make loud noises so shaving her myself is totally out of the question.

My dog .... Oh wait. I'm the only person in my family who doesn't have a dog.

I've never owned a dog before. Maybe one of the reasons why. >.>

My Mom always takes her dog to the groomers. & I have a short haired cat, so I've never had that problem ;P. Atleast your puppy feels better!

Graduated from college a few months ago. Kit they gave me has shitty blades. Still lots of fur on her side that's too long. Don't want to give her blade burn. That's my only complaint with the kit.

She rolled happily in the grass after I was done. xD She's always more active and frisky after her fur is gone.

It's not hard to shave them. They have flaps of skin you need to watch our for, along with trimming their ears since it has a major artery in it.

It would probably be a good idea to shave my dogs because they shed all over the place during the summer. My sheltae goes to the groomer since he has so much hair. My boxer is the one who sheds the most in my house.
