Eli Manning is a pretty good QB. I, personally, like Drew Brees better. But Eli is still a damn good player, and worth the contract.
i dont think he's gona last 6 more years

And why not? He is durable, has a good O-Line in front of him and a decent QB. He will last as long as his Coach will last.

You don't have to worry about him physically, but mentally.

I don't care about the years because they gotta deal with him when he starts to suck. The money on the other hand..........

The amount of money is ridiculous. Eli is arguably not even a top 10 QB in the league.

...Another reason why Archie Manning is probably the most proud father in the world... cool
He has the two highest paid QB's in the league, as sons.
Both of his sons have won and been MVP of a Superbowl.
Both have been to a Pro bowl.

And thats the reason you have alot of kids. The more Kids= The more chance you have of one of them becoming famous and making it big. Just push them everyday, force them against their will to play football, and you'll have a few superstars in a few Decades.

Uhh why? He has all of the credentials, he has a championship, he has a pro bowl, what else do you want out off him? I mean, don't get me wrong, I understand this is a VERY lucrative contract extension but when you have a guy like Eli Manning you don't let him go.

I think what he is trying to say is that No Player deserves that kind of cash.

i'm not agreeing with the eddie dude, but i think he's saying that someone like Tom Brady should get that kinda cash. I don't think that he should have gotten 95mil but i think that he should have gotten at the most 70 or 80 mil.

As a Giants fan, I'm pretty happy about Eli Manning getting this extension. He is our franchise QB, and the face of the team. He's stepped up to become a very good leader. And it's the least he can get after knocking off the 18-0 Patriots in the Super Bowl, and winning the game's MVP.

Eli is a leader, and "the guy" in our offense. After losing Burress, Toomer, and Ward this season (plus Barber and Shockey in the recent past), the new offensive guys need somebody to look up to and work positively alongside. He is a hard worker and does well both on and off the field. I see Eli Manning getting better every season. He's playing in the media center of the world, and has done great under the New York pressure so far. He's had a few missteps, especially in bad weather (wind), but overall, he is a QB who has proven he can lead a team all the way.

Eli won us a superbowl and he's a good quarterback, so I think it's a good deal.

I just hate it when Eli makes those shitty throws every game, but he's good.
