Aha! So that's how you spell that damned bandname?
I heard the first album on the radio when I was still in high school. But I only knew how you pronounce the name, and I never was able to find anything of that sort of name in stored in Poland...
And finally today... I by accident read that Xandria had a new singer. And that this new chick was doing something with Axxis.
Axxis.
I guess some of their albums will land into the same package as Alestorm xd

In the US, our radio choices are braindead pop, braindead club hop, braindead corporate rock, and braindead talk shows. Clear Channel are a bag of cocks. stare

Darling... that was 20 years ago... Radio stations all over the world were much better then... Today? We've got exactly the same what you have. What's worse - they won't play _Polish_ music. Unless that's someone really, really big (in terms of current media popularity).

As far as I'm concerned, the day time radio has always sucked, only occasionally will they play something worth listening to. Night time radio on the other hand is ******** awesome.

I mean, a lot of old rock is great, but hearing the same 17 songs over and over for a couple decades gets old :S

Volvy You forgot braindead corporate country That doesn't even count as music.Volvy , and the oldies/classic rock stations. I mean, a lot of old rock is great, but hearing the same 17 songs over and over for a couple decades gets old :S And yes, this definitely true. Again, thanks to the homogenization of American radio by corporate cesspools the likes of Clear Channel, that's what we get. I find the term "music business" extremely offensive.

the only radio I can tolerate for any extended period of time is online customized streaming radio that works on an axis rating system. those are uber! I have found alot of music that way.

Yeah, I went to a meeting for kids who are interested in working jobs in the arts area in local listings, and a DJ lady from a near by station came to us to explain how it works
The DJs dont choose their own songs, usually, theyre normally paid to just be a "personality"and they play songs that they are told to play by people who are bribed by big label managers. Is basically what she said, of course. Which is funny because my dad was DJ , no, not a personality, he was on the radio about 30 years ago, and he played WHAT EVER he wished, and he sometimes recorded his shows.
That stuff was funny, cause he'd go on tangents about flying monkeys some how correlating to bach's fifth symphony which leads us to hades and then suddenly he plays a David bowie song.
But Im totally off topic now.
