The series written by Rick Riroden takes you through the world of greek myth. And even if you have no clue, no hint into the world. These books are a great eye opener to that past. Written from the view of a young boy name Percy (Perseus) Jackson. We see a canvas filled with greek gods taking on everyday life images. With each quest, the prophecy takes forth and forth hold on the young man who know nothing of the world he steps into. Reader get first time look or for those who know them a new perceptive on Greek myths of old from Oydessus to Trojan war to all the myths and legend you learned in grade school. The authors leaves you guess and in awe as the each books fills in more of the over all story. Personal a great read for anyone, from the ages of 5 to 35. Its a story requires people to look past the words, you know a little read between the lines. I hope you go out and take a peck into the series causes it a good one. Some even say that it will revile Harry Potter one day. Though I doubt that.
