Harbinger smiled at that. A genuine smile this time. "Perhaps I shall, next time I wander this way. After I leave, at any rate." Yes... she liked the idea of having somewhere, someone, to visit again. She didn't really intend to leave just yet, though she supposed that was no reason to not enjoy the idea of having somewhere to go back to once in a while.
"So... you said your father and sister left. Your brother and mother still live here? Is there anyone else, or just your family?" Part of her wanted to meet them and see if they were anything like the stallion. Part of her just wanted to have an idea of who else she might run in to if she decided to wander the area for a while. Mostly she just wanted to find some excuse to keep talking for a little while.

"Oh yes, there's mother's acquaintance Rajani and her adopted daughter, Calfuray. We call her Callie for short. The four of us live together. It's kind of nice and mother's not so lonely this way." The truth was he felt it was better for them this way. His father had always been too judgmental and demanding while his sister had been stuck up and a snitch. The way it was, his family had a small measure of peace. "There's also my brother Kanobi, but he doesn't live with us any more. He's out on his own. Last I heard, he found a pretty mare to be his mate."

It was a rather small group in this area then. That made her feel far more comfortable. She was awkward enough with one or two others around these days, and the prospects of running into a large group were not something she wanted right now. Harbinger listened intently to the names, hoping to remember them if she happened to bump into any of the others. "Your brother found a mate? I'm glad for him."
It was odd that she found herself wondering if Naoise had any pretty mares he was keeping an eye on. Whether she herself was interested at that moment she could not have said, but he did seem a genuinely kind and honest person and she hoped he could find that sort of happiness for himself someday. The same as she seemed to hope that, perhaps, some day she could find some for herself... if she ever dared to let herself honestly seek it.
"It might seem odd of me to say this, but I think that you will make a better uncle and father than your own was, when life reaches that point. And I hope you and your family all find genuine happiness and love that you've not yet had."
