It was bound to happen. Every has their opinions; every has a "favorite" or preferred system, whether they admit or realize it. Well, this is the spot for you to voice your opinions on how awesome that system is. As always there are some rules and guidelines, so please, read them, follow them, and don't break them.
This is the ONLY thread for "Console Wars". Please, don't make others without permission. This is to help keep from constant repeat threads.
As always, this is debate in good fun. Voicing your opinion is fine, but let's refrain from the insults and bashing please and keep it to a minimum. A MINIMUM, meaning it's okay to poke fun, but srs bsns is NOT srs bsns here, k?

I've played my sister's Wii. The Mario Party thing. It was fun. I've never played much of anything on XBOX, and I've known the Playstation since I was little. :,D But I don't know much of the newer stuff. I just know it has Kingdom Hearts <333 I like to fly around like Peter Pan.

Makaze~chan I've played my sister's Wii. The Mario Party thing. It was fun. I've never played much of anything on XBOX, and I've known the Playstation since I was little. :,D But I don't know much of the newer stuff. I just know it has Kingdom Hearts <333 I like to fly around like Peter Pan. LOL Peter Pan.
I have yet to play a PS3, but I hear a lot of good and bad.
More good though.

Ok here's the DL on what I percieve as truth;
Ps3:
System:the top of the line engine, better video/audio quality, more space, easy to understand layout
Games: More for the 1-player games such as single fps' and platformers and mmo's.
Xbox 360:
System: Decent engine, standard definition video/audio, space limited to hard drives that must be purchased indivdually, difficult dashboard with too many tabs for navi.
Games: More for the massive online versus games, easier to group with other people across countries.
Wii:
System: mediocre engine at best, standard definition video/audio, decent space, easy layout
Games: kiddy party style games, not a true runner in the console wars, more like a mockery of a game console.
Personal take:
I prefer my ps3, I've had a ps system since they've come out and although most would call me a fanboy I disagree. I've owned an xbox and a 360, both decient systems for what they were but I'm more into the interactive games, ones with plot and story and glorified graphics that enhance the experience, not a monkey in a wedding dress in heels; which is how I see the 360. It's simply a cheap console that can support massive online gamming, the ps3 will be competing soon with titles such as MAG and Drakes Uncharted 2, both of which host a plethora of interactive features and online options.
As it stands the ps3 is simply a blueray player with gaming capabilites, that's true but when more popular titles come out you'll be sure to see more and more people willing to fork over that extra dough for the better system.

Id like to say that I would go PS3 all the way. or sony systems in general =] nintendo was good...was... and xbox is alright. haha... but ps systems are just sooo kool! hee. Resident evil, silent hill, final fantasy, kingdom hearts, oh man they got it all =]

Wow... I feel poor! I do not own a playstation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii... and I have never played them either. All I have is my playstation 2, and my gamecube. Oh and my nintendo 64, super nintendo, My sega... all the VERY OLD... game systems. Which... I got from a yard sale... and none of them work... except for my Playstation 2 which I bought the day the were released... and my gamecube which I bought for 70 dollars at gamestop.

Because there are games I want that is only for the xbox 360. Like... Fable 2... You really are behind aren't you...tragic really. As for the ps3 to play ps2 unless you want to pay 6-700 for more than likely a used backwards compatible ps3 (since all production has ceased on them) you can't play them, and the xbox souly to play fable 2? o.O is pretty much my expression since fable 2 was the worst of the 3 fable available, yes I said 3, so yeah sure play it but don't get a console just for 1 game, especially fable 2 >.>; (although fable 3 is pretty awesome)
