Kuro Tenmei was born into a rich family but was unwanted by her parents who had wished for a boy to be the heir of the family. She grew up isolated from her parents and attended an elite school which she spent most her free time. When she turned 16 her family threw her out onto the streets to fend for herself and cut all contact from her. After a month passed she came across a boy from her school that she seldom talked to. He asked her why she hadn’t been at school for the entire month and was worried about her along with the rest of their class. Kuro explained what happened to him and for the first time cried about it. The boy asked her if she’d like to stay with him and she accepted without hesitation.
Upon her return to her school, her classmates asked how it happened. Confused she asked what they meant by their question. They asked how she and the boy became engaged. Kuro hide her shock until she got home and confronted him about it. He merely stated that her marrying him would be in her best interest and that he loved her and wanted to be with her. Angry that he didn’t ask her she turned to leave the house when he grabbed her arm and begged her to stay. With tears in her eyes, Kuro turned and slapped the boy as she yelled at him.
“IF YOU TRULY LOVE ME, YOU WOULD OF ASKED ME! AND I WOULD OF SAID YES!!!” After her outburst she collapsed to the ground crying.
The boy crouched down beside her and asked her to look at him. She did and he hugged her tightly and apologized. He helped her up when he go back on one knee and looked up at her. He pulled a rign case from his pocket and exposed the ring inside.
“Kuro… Will you marry me?” Was all he said when she through her arm around him repeating one word. Yes.
On the day of their wedding, after the words ‘Til death do you part’ and they kissed, Kuro was shot through the heart and died in the arms of her new husband.
Hollow
In mourning, Kuro refused to have Konso preformed on her and attacked and Soul Reaper who tried. When her Chain of Fate devoured a hole in her she became a cat-like hollow and devoured the souls of others including her killer and husband.
