ive been playing final fantasy tactics advance alot lately and ive found something out. the sword "masamune" is a katana. is there a mistake in the comics or is it the fact that its hard to draw, or have i read the comix wrong? help me...

There's a Masamune in every Final Fantasy game, and it comes in varying forms from game to game. It's named after a legendary Japanese swordsmith.
Incidentally, Masamune made the dragon katana for Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez (Sean Connery) in the movie Highlander.

Usually, the legendary Masamune sword is represented as a katana, due to the time period and location of its creation. Though its name is a reference to the creator of the sword, not the sword itself.
Even so, in games such as Chrono Trigger, the masamune takes the appearence of a west European style sword, though this is mainly due to the context of the story.
Also, what "comix" would this be? (And would it kill you to spell the word correctly? Surely an extra letter to form "comics" isn't to hard...)

No, no... You're fine. The "comix" you use is a title, and therefore acceptable in my terms of "english". using "comix" instead of "comics" in any other context I just find lazy, and a bastardisation of my mother tongue.
