I use Audacity for recording my random jam sessions and covers. it's pretty good quality wise, but it can be complicated and tedious at times. What do you use and what are the pros and cons.

I use FruityLoops for drumsequences, it has a bunch of sound effects and some mixing capabilities but they are tedious. I also use Sonar for recording, haven't really had any problems with it since its pretty straight forward, only thing is I can't figure out how to get it to recognize my Toneport. Been too lazy to call tech support.

Cubase 5 for my Band's recording Sessions.
And sometimes Protools.
It's a lot of fun.
