The Kidō Corps (鬼道衆, Kidōshū) is a separate branch of Soul Society's military that excels in the art of Kidō. It takes students from the Shinigami Academy that excel in Kidō and trains them to further their abilities in said area. Its operations are executed in absolute secrecy, little else is known. It is rare to see anyone from the Kidō Corps, with the exception of the captain. For the Captain of the Kidō Corps, is also responsible of the entire 5th Squad.

Special duties of the Kidō Corps include being responsible for opening the Senkaimon between the human world and Soul Society.

To be accepted into the Corps, one cannot simply ask or apply. The Kidō Corps Commander will seek you out if you show exceptional skill in handling the demon arts. Once you have been accepted, the training you receive will allow you - a soldier of the Kidō Corps - to use more of the advance demon magic. Which of these spells you are qualified to learn is determined by a few different factors; the effort spent training, your skill, and the Kidō Corp Commander's approval.

This is the headquarters of Kidō Corps. Shinigami that have been recruited to this special division have access to this restricted building, but only for the purposes of discussing kidō or information related to the corps.
