Welcome, everyone!

As the Seireitei's kidō specialists, all members are encouraged to focus on the theory and application of offensive kidō in battle. As such, the three families of kidō - Hadō, Bakudō, and Bougyoudo (Support Spells/Defensive Spells/Stat Boosting Spells) - are concentrated upon by our division, which supplements kidō prowess with knowledge of fighting techniques based on Zanjutsu or Hakuda.

Chiyudo, the healing arts, are not a primary focus of the fifth division, though all members are encouraged to know one good healing spell to take care of their own wounds when in battle.

Members of the fifth division are capable with a sword, and as such, can fight alongside other divisions using their kidō to supplement the strengths and shore up the weaknesses of their fellow Shinigami in battle.

For the most part, however, we are warriors who follow a dual path of using both our spirit and body to fight and defeat our enemies.
