Darcy was perched on her rock, every once in a while shooting a frown at her twin brother. "She's late." Was her only comment, the one she tended to use every night. She looked around the cave boredly.

"No, she isn't." Aaron said, shaking his head. Okay, maybe she was a minute late. Darcy was always so impatient.. "She'll be here." The preteen was carefully holding onto a toddler's hand. "She'll be here soon." I hope. He looked at the child, with an almost--well. It looked like the boy knew his mythology.

"Should we tell her?" Aaron asked, looking to his sister. Darcy didn't answer.

Stupid bus system with it's lying schedule, lying route maps and general lack of hygiene. It had taken Blaice forever to get to the stop near the unfamiliar cave system, not that much on this planet was familiar to the blond seraph. Which was why she was more than a little confused as to why anyone would insist on her of all people coming here at this hour. Who in the seven hells knew she was here?

" Hello?" Blaice called out uncertainly as she entered the cave. She hoped this wasn't some sort of dangerous trick someone was playing, she had limited magic to use ion her defense, although she did have a few interesting packets of plant powders in her jacket pockets that might come in handy.

Darcy hopped down from the rock on which she'd perched, and stepped out of the gloom. It was an impressive effect. "I assume you are Blaice. I am Darcy Azoulai." She gave a mock bow, smiling--wait, was it a smile? "I'd like to introduce you to your new son." The girl paused, before gesturing to the boy whose hand was so carefully held in Aaron's.

Aaron was sorry to see the boy go, even if he knew the myths. He offered the obviously confused woman a smile.

The angel stared at Darcy and then at the little boy the very strange little boy. " I.. what's his name?" While she tried to compose her thoughts the least she could do was find out what the young one was called. " And couldn't you find a better place to do this, caves are no place for young children" she chided. Honestly such lack of care made her pale yellow feathers ruffle in irritation.

"He doesn't have one. We always leave that for the guardian to decide." Darcy said, that strange smile of hers still plastered on her face. She suddenly chuckled. Safer place?

"I assure you, Ma'am, this cave is perfectly safe." Aaron said, giving the woman a polite smile. "There is protection here, whether you can see it or not." He didn't mention that said protection was provided by himself.

" It's still not the sort of place children should be at this hour" Blaice said pointed looking at the pair. This situation was still wholly confusing for the Seraph and she was reverting into guardian mode being authoritative and insistent upon her beliefs. That and she was honestly a bit surprised the little one they offered her was even awake at such an hour.

Blaice moved to crouch down so she was on eye level with the strange boy. " I don't know what I'll call you yet but I promise to take care of you." Her voice was soft and reassuring even if she was not wholly sure about this situation and that Darcy with her creepy smile.

The boy, as if drawn to the woman's walked unsteadily towards her pausing only to look back at Aaron who still held his one hand. The look in his eyes clearly stating he wanted the older male to release him.

"We would have had put him to bed, in a normal situation." Darcy said, still smiling. "He slept all day." The preteen shrugged, and climbed back onto her rock. "He is not human. He doesn't sleep like we do."

Aaron let go of the little will o' the wisp, before smiling gently at the toddler. He looked to the angel. "We know that you aren't from around here." He said, sounding almost apologetic. "I suggest you read up on your mythology when you take him home. Do not allow him to go out at night alone, and take especial care that he doesn't lure anyone to your home."

" Just what is he?" Blaice has encountered a few other species before in her life but most of them were typical demonic things, she'd never seen anything like this boy. Despite the strange warnings she was still prepared to take on the responsibility of him.

The pale if faintly glowing skinned child smiled as he was set free and made his way over into the woman's arms. It was somewhere between late and early and he was more than ready to leave this cave to explore the world before dawn came.

"A will o' the wisp." Darcy supplied, giving the woman a winning smile. "Sometimes classified as an unseelie, if you want him be considered a fairy, sometimes considered undead. Sometimes they are cruel, and prey upon lost travelers by luring them into traps. Sometimes they are helpful. Like my brother said, you probably don't want him out at night."

Aaron was silent, his sister wasn't being as blunt as usual.

As Blaice stood and held the boy in her arms she nodded " I see." This information was good but she would need to do more research later. " Is there anything else I should know?" She was anxious to get the little one home where they could speak in private and she could hopefully better understand him.

Darcy opened her mouth to say something, but her brother's look silenced her.

"Most of the children we have created appear to have special abilities." Aaron said, giving the woman a kind smile. "Generally, we do not learn about these until they have been home a while--your son seems to be the exception. You see how he glows? I suppose that is his ability."

The seraph nodded, that didn't seem like such a bad thing fairly easy to deal with. " Alright then." She held the boy close noting how he yawned and she wondered if she was tired in general or if perhaps it was due to the hour getting closer and closer to full sunrise. " May we leave then?" These two still unnerved Blaice though not enough to make her defensive or aggressive, just enough to make her uncomfortable.
