K'Dee ended up giggling by her reaction. Yes, pink was a disgusting color, but it was still funny what Bella had to do and say about it. "P!nk is pretty good, you should come and hang with me sometime and we could listen to some of her music."
Elana nodded, it would be difficult to be blind. But now that she thought of it from Bella's point of veiw... It might actually be difficult if by some miracle she was suddenly able to see. "And... I suppose you're fairly used to this... 'disability' now?" She used the word with quotations to show even though most might consider being blind a disability it didn't seem to disable the two at all.

"Actually, I-" Open up, Bella. Open up! a small voice said. "I'd love to. I have nothing else to do most days. I study so much it's almost unhealthy," she said with a chuckle. A growing friendship isn't really that high on her list of things she likes but it couldn't hurt...
Chris thought a moment and replied with, "Yeah, but there really wasn't that much to get used to in the first place. Well, concerning her blindness. We still had to get used to each other. She had been alone too long." He wondered, though. If they were doing this well with a handicap, where would they be if she could see? Would they be further behind because her senses were more dull or farther ahead?

"HOKAY! I bet we'll have lots of fun!... I will even get you some Jelly beans! The girl replied excitedly. She always loved making new friends.
"That is true," Elana agreed, "And it looks like you two are perfect for each other now." The dark-haired girl glanced between Bella and Chris. "You might hate me for saying this.. but I can't help but think you two might make a good couple." Her voice sounded so flat and uninterested when she said this that is almost sounded insulting. However it wasn't meant to be, it was just the way she would talk about 'happy' things like such.

Oh we were going to be great friends alright! she thought excitedly. Bella hesitated...then quickly hugged K'Dee; a genuine hug too. "We're gonna be best friends!" she just about squeaked out.
Chris's eyes widened and he went into a very sudden coughing fit. This went on for several seconds before he regained his composure and faced Elana. He whispered, "So, that's what you think, hmm?" He tried not to sound hopeful. Too many guys had wanted Bella as their weapon because she was "hawt" or "purty". He wanted to be different but some part of him was just like those guys.

Suddenly K'Dee found herself in a hug. She grinned happily, a light shade of red tinting her features. How she loved hugs. "You're right! We will be best friends!" Gently she hugged the girl back.
"Indeed that is what I think... Otherwise i wouldn't have said it..." Elana studied the boys tone and expression trying to tell if he felt the same. But she only came to the conclusion of he was interested in her and thought she was 'hot'. After all that's what ANY boy would think. There was no way you could hide it.

Completely forgetting the wall project behind them, the girls continued munching on their jellybeans, both with huge grins on their faces.
Having been discovered, Chris sighed. "Anyone can love her," he started, "but would she love me in return? It seemed unlikely. Sure they made good friends and got along well but could they ever be something more? It was a miracle that she was being so friendly to K'Dee...

"How the hell should I know? I'm not some love doctor..." Elana reminded, "I personally could care less about relationships..."

Chris frowned at her response. Knowing already that she really wouldn't care, he had meant it as a rhetorical question. One to reflect upon by himself. "Yeeeeeeah," he said, raising his eyebrow. "So you pointing out good couple possibilities means nothing at all..." He smiled at this.
