~Operation Tennyo~
There were five celestial maidens that lived high up in the tallest mountain of Japan. Within the top of the mountain was the mystic pathway they used to come back and forth from the Celestial Plane and the human world. Each maiden had a specific element they ruled, spirit, earth, air, water, and fire. They liked coming down to earth to interact with it's people, they used their talents to aid those who were kind, and punish those who were cruel. For many centuries these five maidens lived on both sides of the veil while humans wrote legends of their existence. Over time the world began to change, humans stopped believing in celestial magics and anything beyond their man-made technology. The world was no longer tolerable for them and they stopped coming down to visit the humans but once every one hundred years.
Things began to get more dangerous for their visits, they had to be secretive about their existence and could no longer use their gifts for people without attracting unwanted attention. Yet being amongst their beloved humans and not sharing their magic with them made their hearts ache with the sorrow of it, and finally they consented. As each one used their gift to do something good for humans, they began to show up on the radar of a research company. They were own by a powerful family who knew much of the old legends, and they began tracking these women, and soon learned what they really were. Kazua Corporation realized what it would mean if they could capture the celestial maidens, they could bring the world to it's knees and become it's master.
Kazua Corp used underhanded evil methods to lure the maidens into their grasps. One by one they picked them off until they captured them all. With their knowledge of the ancient past they created methods of keeping them and their powers in check. They couldn't use their gifts except when allowed in a controlled testing environment, they couldn't even fly anymore as they had separated them from their hagoromos and kept their mantles under lock an key. The Tennyo can't even touch each other, hear each other, they cannot even see one another. Life became pointless, it wasn't worth living if they didn't have each other or their magic. Slowly they began to waste away, refusing to eat, or hydrate themselves so they were so weak they couldn't summon the magic Kazua Corp so coveted. They decided to have them killed. However, two scientists who had been a part of the experiments decided they could no longer stand by and let such horrors descend upon the celestial maidens.
They plotted quickly, and got the help of two security guards, and even the Captain of Kazua Corps personal police to aid in the escape plan. of course, none of them would be able to return to Kazua Corp.. Now is the night of the escape...
