1st question: Are tasteful n***s even ok to post?
I am trying to get back into drawing. It's been a long time. I am new to this site (3rd day today) and trying to set up an art shoppe. Someone told me to do free avi art to figure out how much I should "sell" my work for. I am doing that in the freebie thread and this is one of the pieces I am working on. I SUCK at coloring and am not good at judging myself in general so tell me this!

How the hell should I do the wings (redlines appreciated)?
Any suggestions for a simple tasteful background?
