I was just hacked by a person with this same username.
Now I realize that you're probably saying wtf is wrong with this girl but I did.
What happened was they contacted me claiming that I was to be checked for bannable reasons. They asked for my info and I gave it because I figured it was an admin. Please never ever do that. Please 'o please never ever fall for this trick. I beg you.

Wow. I actually read the ToS. You know, where it says "no admin will ever ask for your account info." The real admins already have access to everyones account info; that's why they're admins.
I haven't ever been "hacked," though my ex did decide to be a douche and take about 300m worth of equips off my MapleStory account after I dumped him. There is a difference between someone hacking, and you being careless with your login info.

Well the way they said it, it seemed like they wanted to be sure I was the real user of the account. >.> I know, I was stupid. I just wanted to make sure no one else does what I did. I also thought it was strange that someone could have a name that made them look like an admin. sweatdrop

well i guess if nexon keeps doing patches they'll keep the hackers away making it safer for us lvl70+ players neutral
