1. Why the heck are you asking for money, if you're rich enough to start a charity, use your gold!
Correction, I WAS rich enough to start a charity...when I started. I gave 500,000 gold to the charity mule to start us out. Thanks to donations given to us we've been able to not only give all of that out, but much more. I believe a charity can't just run on the gold that one person can make!
2. Why do you give out so much then? Didn't you realize you'd run out of funds awfully fast?
I did. I hoped to be able to keep this charity going on donations, which so far I have, barely. We give out so much gold because I don't think it's right for someone to go through the processes some charities require just to get 1k. It's kind of pointless because you could make that much playing booty grab! That's why I give out more.
3. You just said you give out more, but there are people on your list who only got 1k!
They were people who struck me as completely stupid. Those people either lied on their applications or filled them out wrong REPEATEDLY!
4. Why should I donate to you?
Why shouldn't you? It's pixelated currency that is going to people who need it. If you've got an extra 100 or so laying around, why not let us use it?
5. Are you going to close if you run out of funds?
No. I will start selling items from my main account to fund the charity if I have to, but I do not want to close. Already we've met some amazing people in this venture and I love the feeling I get every time I send that trade with a hefty donation to someone who needs it.
6. Why do you keep saying "We?"
My charity isn't only me. I run it, true, but there are also others like my thread Moderator, Lothaegin and my Sushi Crew who help us make it successful! We'd be nowhere without them.
7. Can you still donate to my quest?
I'll certainly try! Go ahead and post with us, we're not dirt poor just yet!
8. Can I donate Items/Trash/Bugs/Ink/ anything other than gold?
Of course! Any and all donations are welcome from 1g to 1,000,000,000,000g from trash to treasure. Anything you have to spare helps us in some way!
