Sikatcuath's head turned to Anidanth and she let out a low growl of displeasure after the other green's rider had spoke.. Ariaen glared Sika for a moment, before following her gaze to Anidanth and her rider, letting a glare fall on her face. They think you can not fly, Sikatcuath? We'll show'em. Sika nodded before turning away.
Sikatcuath, then nodded at Uktenath, realized she'd also been spoken to in the time she'd been glaring. Thank you, Uktenath. Good morning Atosith.
The pair watched Ialluth demostrate a glide, and then both Reneneth, and Ianquith glide. Well it seemed easy enough to Sikatcuath, just open your wings, jump forward and push down with them. At the same time, of course. She was determined to not fail this, and show that though she was a bit on the bulky side, she could still fly.

F'sey couldn't help but smile at the little green's success. Not perfect, not even that pretty, but she'd down it, all the same. There was plenty of time to practice. "Very good," he murmured with a nod, leaving dragon and rider to celebrate. "Alright. I fancy we've all got a pretty good idea what we're doing, now. We'll keep going one at a time, Faranth help us if we have clumsy dragons colliding." Wouldn't that be just terrible?
"U'ru and Atosith, off you go. N'tos, Asceth, you can follow once Atosith lands safely."
(( You guys can go ahead in your own order. Trying to make sure y'all have a turn, eh? If they fly quick, you can go ahead and toss your dragon up and mention F'sey gave the nod or the go ahead and what have you. ))

U'ru felt Atosith's muscles tense for a second when they were called to go next. He looked to the dark blue, whose eyes flickered yellow for a moment. The rider smiled encouragingly, reminding himself to take slow deep breaths to help calm not only himself but his lifemate as well. U'ru placed his hand on Atosith's neck and gave him a certain nod. "You can do it. I'm here with you."
Atosith tensed briefly at being called, looking from F'sey to his own rider. He rolled his shoulders and stretched his wings at U'ru's soothing. Well, His had confidence in him, why shouldn't he be able to glide. Slowly rising to his feet, the blue moved a little ways off from the group. He looked to his rider once more with a distinct "Are you sure about this' sort of look on his face.
U'ru chuckled softly to himself and waved a 'Go on' motion at his hesitant partner. "Think like you're swimming, only a little differently. After this lesson we can head down to the water for a nice long bath."
That having been said definitely seemed to perk Atosith up a bit. "Not something to be feared. Something to be enjoyed." He took a deep breath and leapt forward kicking off the ground hard. He beat his wings once or twice. It seemed for a moment that he wouldn't make it up his first go at it, with him almost falling back down to the ground. With a few more strong wing beats, the blue had managed to reach a decent height. Atosith angled his wings slightly to make a wide turn so he could keep an eye on where he would land. He did this wide circling glide for a minute of two.
U'ru curled his hands into determined fists. "You're doing it! Halfway there! Just ride the air back down to me."
Atosith felt exhilterated, his own surprise and his riders enthusiasm helped that. He was in the air! Now to return to the ground. The dark blue held his wings at their full length, riding down on the wind. U'ru sometimes forgot how big his little grump was getting. Normally with his wings tucked close to his sides, Atosith looked a little smaller than normal. As he drew closer to the ground, by a yard or so, he gave his wings a few small flaps to slow himself down, feeling as if he was coming in a little fast. The blue landed on his feet with a thump, trotting to a stand still. He paused looking quite surprised at himself.
His rider gave a cheer. "Yeah! Amazing! You did so well! Come on over here! See, nothing to worry about!"
The blue blinked and turned to his rider, his eyes flickering blue green, happy that it was over and glad that it turned out well. Atosith marched back over to His seeming a bit more confident now that he could just sit and watch. He sat down next to U'ru who promptly gave him a bear hug and scratched his eyeridges. Atosith gave himself a shake as if to rid himself of any lingering jitters. "That wasn't so bad, Mine..."
U'ru couldn't help but laugh.

The golden depth of his eyes flickered, hearing his name being called. "All right." He shot a grin to the teacher, giving him a thumbs up.
Asceth looked to N'tos You will watch, yes? Of course. N'tos asssured the brown, waiting patiently for U'ru and Atosith to fly. When their turn came, N'tos slid his hands behind his head and walked with ease to a different area than where the other riders and their dragons resided.
Guiding the brown towards a spacious area, N'tos took a seat on the rocks. He offered no verbal words, simply giving Asceth a grin. The brown didn't need any thoughts to feel N'tos soothing presence. Whether it turned out well or not, N'tos wouldn't think any less of him.
Aware of the gazes of the other riders and their dragons, Asceth extended his wings. From first glance, despite his slimness, there was much of his body to support. But the brown was advantageous in that most of the weight was in muscle than fat, and leapt forward. In his jump, he had left a trail of dust.
With heavy but powerful flaps, the brown held himself in the air for another moment. He wasn't nearly as big as the queen, but he had grown to a good size for a brown. And then he began to glide slowly around in larger circles. Even from a far view, the dragon seemed be deliberating his movements, and slowly veered back to make a landing. The brown settled back down on the group with a heavy 'thump!', his wings folding inside. He took his time walking back, in no hurry or rush as he glanced at his rider. I did.. adequate? N'tos awarded him with grin and open arms. The brown nudged N'tos affectionately, nearly making him topple in the quiet pleasure that he basked in.
"W-whoa." The male could be heard exclaiming, Asceth catching his body in the curve of his neck. "Easy there."

At a gesture from the weyrling master, C'mor and Naedreth exchanged a glance: their turn then. The young bronze paused for a moment to nudge his rider affectionately before making his way to the take off point, his carriage as upright and regal as ever. As the young dragon stretched his wings experimentally, C'mor grinned to himself; he had a feeling that his lifemate wouldn't be able to keep his usual bearing up during his first flight.
As it turned out he was correct; the muscular bronze's take off was far from pretty, and it took him a few moments to steady his course and look more as if he was gliding, and less as if he was dropping like a stone. With this in hand, or rather in wing, he began the same slow circling that the others had demonstrated, flapping powerfully when he needed to gain a bit of height back.
"See Mine!" Naedreth exclaimed to his rider, bugling with joy at the same moment. "I knew I could do it!" He might not be the most graceful, but he was doing it! All that time he had spent strengthening his wings had been well worth it. Eyes swirling brilliant green, the bronze angled his wings and, with only a minor wobble, headed back towards the class.
He landed with a heavy thump, and nearly fell over himself as he trotted a few paces to lose momentum, but as first landings went it wasn't bad at all. "That was wonderful," he commented to His and the other dragons, "better than I could have imagined! I look forward to the day when we can all fly properly!" When he and His were grown they would do so many good things. The waiting was hard, but he could do it for now, and for a time he supposed he and His could be simple wing riders. One day though, one day they would be more.
Settling his wings by his side, Naedreth moved out of the way so that the next young dragon could take to the air. His rider didn't say anything as he rejoined him, but words weren't necessary; he could feel that His was proud, and even if he couldn't the huge grin the young man wore, and the solid slap of congratulations that landed on his shoulder would have. They had both known he could do it, but that didn't make the accomplishment any less wonderful.
