Aozora ~Blue Sky~ Easier, but not easy. lol There are still a lot of words that are different. well yes, especially with the verbs that split and the declinations, but in spanish you have the accent "´", a lot of ways of conjugating the verbs, and the only words that are similar are the ones that come from a greek or latin word, so for an native english speaker it should be easier to learn german

It's funny though, because I hear a lot of people say that Spanish is pretty easy to learn too. really? i've heard the exact opposite a lot of times, but then again i'm on a spanish speaking country so i wouldn't know XD as for the challenging thing i agree, i also think that how fast you learn it depends a lot on if you like the language
