I think we've all seen domestic violence... Ive heard back in St.Louis in my little white suburbia neighborhood. I've been over to my friends house when her parents have been fighting.. physically - holes in the wall, swollen ankles, screaming "Get off me"... it's not pretty. Scares the s**t out of me really.
Maybe because those things are so far away from me. My parents never argue, unless it's over the remote razz .
Anyways. I was talking to my friend last night... his mom is insane. When he was little, he was bouncing a ball up on his garage and it shattered the glass, and when he tried to explain it was an accident, his mother calld the cops on him and told them that he was crazy. He was in a mental institution for a month. He used to live in Alabama with his grandmother... all the sudden his mother wanted custody over him again... what for - I have no clue. Apparently, last night his mom took all hi stuff out of his room and threw it out. Then called the cops on him... for nothing. When I was talking to him I heard his mom demand something and he said "You talkin crazy mom," and the next thing I hear is him saying, "Don't touch me mom. Don't touch me. GET OFF OF ME!" and then the call ended. He called back... he said it was the first time he hit her... and then she came and said, "Give the phone." I dont even know.. then he called back again, and he had to go, cause the police were there... Apparently him and his sisters stories were the same while his mom's was different, and the officer asked if he would like to press charges - he didn't though.
