Stand Up, You’ve Got to Manage I Won’t Sympathize Anymore
My bias is toward Key, but it's hard to say that I'd accept his proposal if I really got to know everyone. The cameras can't catch it all.
Rejecting the rest would be really hard, especially if I had to reject Onew. No matter who I chose, I feel like telling Dubu Tofu no might kill me because I love his laughter. Minho probably wouldn't flinch, Jonghyun's such a ladies' man that he'd laugh it off, and I could tell Taemin something along the lines of "My little brother's getting so assertive!" But Onew...easily my second favorite and...*sighs*
In short, I'd hate myself.
Would you rather accept a one month job in which you'd work in the same building as SHINee but aren't guaranteed to get to meet them but would probably pass by them on a regular or work for 3 days there, on one such day you are guaranteed that meeting with them?

Stand Up, You’ve Got to Manage I Won’t Sympathize Anymore
*GASP*
How DARE you ask such a blasphemous question!? For SHAME!
That aside, it depends. Overall, I'd have to say Japan because I'm already learning the language and know far more about the culture than I do Korean culture. However, as I learn more about South Korea, they even each other out considerably.
Japan wins for: language, anime, video games (game play and epic existing games such as the Zelda franchise), traditional costume (not a big fan of hanboks), rock and anime music, and overall fashion (especially some of the harajuku stuff)
Korea wins for: greater versatility in acceptability of people of different backgrounds (Japan = #1 most homogenous country, therefore most xenophobic), pop and dance music, number of stars they have that I instantly recognize and/or love to pieces, video game art and video game clothing, beautiful men (something must be in the water because they see to habitually turn out a huge array of beautiful male faces)
Right now, I can honestly say Japan, especially since I'm trying to get a job there. In the future, I'm sure they'll be equally loved all around in my heart.
So...
What would your "build-an-Asian" look/act/etc like?

I'd have to say a rock group.
My voice isn't especially suited to either format, but I've found it easier to sing in accordance to emotionally volatile rock than to sing for the sake of "pretty" as I might find in pop. I say "pretty" because of how much auto tune is used and the fact that I am NOT a "pretty" or "cute" person. Edgy. Spunky. Sharp. Unique. But pretty and cute do NOT describe me as a person, therefore I don't think I'd do the idol "pop" title much good.
If you were the sex opposite given to you at birth, what do you think you would do most different/what do you think would be the most different with your life?
