Another thing you might want to add:

*ALWAYS CREDIT ARTISTS!

I know many people who use commissioned pieces in their profiles and they don't say anything about who did them. ;w;

I'd like a little tag in the about section that I did your background, ya? biggrin (The general "your" not the specific)

Oh man, absolutely!!! A lot of people assume that commissioning an artwork gives them the right to edit and use as graphics, or use on their website or profile page, but it doesn't unless the artist gives them permission to do so. A lot of artists seem to be assuming that their commissions can be used that way too though, so I guess its not so bad. But give credit at least, for sure 3nodding I'll put this one up in the first post.

Check mine for what I mean.
(Firefox people only. On IE the transparency removes my links section. God knows why. gonk )

I can see it fine...oh wait, you removed the filter bit redface

I like transparency, when used properly of course. It's the same as using a specific colour, some just don't look right if you don't use 'em properly

Obviously, this only applies if you use all the transparency settings, so it shows up in all browsers, otherwise your profile is unfinished (like mine sweatdrop )

If your comment background is colored, for the love of kittens fix the corners. Square them, make new corners, whatever floats your boat, but don't just leave them! White corners on comment boxes are my personal pet peeve.
