((I'm going to keep rp'ing her as a teen for the time being... I never got enough time to enjoy each of her stages ^_^; )) Calypso prowled through her swamp, enjoying the feeling of the mud on her smooth wet skin. No one had bothered her in weeks; her mother was much to busy with her precious stones, her father was preoccupied with mutilating the living, and she had finally managed to ditch her siblings... She growled mentally, he goody goody two shoes brother and Ms. Perfect sister. Caly and her sister are opposites, like Yin and Yang, the only difference between them an yin&yang is that yin&yang coexist peacefully, while on the other hand, Caly and her sister do not. Snarling in frustration, Caly recalled all the times her sister could do something she couldn't because Caly was blind. The anger boiled inside of her so violently, that the moment she sensed a movement in the trees above her head, she shot out of the mud like a canon and snapped the creature that had been moving around in two. The unfortunately place monkey hadn't even had time to yelp out a call of surprise as it's life ended. Calypso flopped back into the mud and "looked" down at the decapitated monkey by her hands. A shiver ran down her back and if she had eyes, frustrated tears would have pooled within them. But, as it were, she had no eyes, and therefore she could never know what it felt like to cry. God help what ever creature crossed her next, for Caly was obviously in a very bad mood.

The trees rustled strangely as he stared across the land in front of him. The strange scent of swamp was out in the distant. He had finally found the swamp after searching the vast jungle for several days. Would his quest to find something beautiful in something so disgusting be fruitful or as rotten as the leaves at the bottom of the swamp? A small sigh escaped the glowing dragon’s lips, his body hovering over top of the ground. He wouldn’t dare touch the muddy earth below; his feet would get far too dirty.
Wriggling his nose at the foul smell the swamp gave off he continued his path towards the water, too concentrated on his goal to notice the eerie silence of the jungle. In fact the dragon was humming softly to himself, dogging all obstacles in his way. What could go wrong, it was a swamp after all…

Caly heard a faint humming through the trees and perked her ears. In the absence of her eyesight, her other senses had grown immensely sensitive, and therefore she could hear, smell, and feel things more others could. She frowned, who would possibly be in this area?! No one ever came around here! Caly dove into the murky water-like mud, hiding everything except her ears, which probably looked like some sort of strange swamp plant, and the tip of her nose. She called to one of her familiar mice, Mo, who was in a tree over her head, and connected her mind to his so she could look through the mouse's eyes at the surrounding area. Caly was in no mood to tolerate strangers in her secret place....

Continuing to float about, slowly nearing the stinky marshes Apollo shivered. it felt as if he was being stared at by another strange creature, and an unhappy one at that. Scanning the strange new land, or lack there of, Apollo shivered once more. What was that feeling he had in his gut? He felt as if he knew the feeling before, had met someone with that kind of gaze before.
Curling his body tightly the glowing nebula dragon watched the murky surface of the marsh. Maybe there was some sort of frog staring at him, or a monkey, he knew they traveled around the area now and again. Looking around the ring of tree not one monkey could be spotted, nor a bird, or a frog...
"There is not a single living creature in this area!" He exclaimed as he came to realize what was going on. For there to be not a single living thing in the area, there had to be something wrong, some kind of danger. Had they all died off...? He eyed up the red 'plant' in the middle of the swamp. Had that plant been the cause?

As the mysterious new Painter floated into sight, Caly's mouse in the tree called to her mentally, giving her a dark and fuzzy picture. Mice never really had very good eyesight. Caly growled to herself, the figure she saw through the mouse was shadowy, large, and foreboding; she had not yet perfected the exchange of mind-pictures with her familiars as her mother had, so what Caly saw was much worse than what was actually there. Then, according to the mouse, it suddenly turned it's head towards where she was hiding. Crap... it knows I'm here! I have to attack it before it had a chance to get me! Why, oh why do these monsters always come after me...?!
Caly coiled up her muscles, and calculated how far the other must be from her according to her familiar's description and the vibrations she felt her "ears". Then, when she finally felt ready, Caly burst forth from the boggy water and strait at Apollo. Well, as strait as a blind painter who had never flown in her life could go. She let out a feral snarl, hoping to scare it off because now she had no idea where she was or where it was or even if she could manage to make contact. She had hoped that her jump was strong enough for her to land on whoever it was and push them into the water before swimming off... but... things didn't always work out as planned when she was in the air...

As he continued to stare at the mystery plant he shivered again. Something was most definitely watching him, but what was it! "Come out you coward!" he hissed, trashing his trail around in the air out of frustration. His eyes searched the treetops for a pair of eyes. He was now staring at everything except the red 'plant' which was actually attached to an head of a rather strange looking Pan'lun. A very strange Pan that was headed straight for him.
As he looked back towards the middle of the swamp he felt a weight pull him from the air straight down into the murky water below. He didn't want to touch it, he didn't want to stink! Closing both eyes he braced for the inveitable plunge into the deep nasty swamp water. His poor hair! Mouth tightened as he felt the sludge pool around him, accepting him into its grimy grasp. He would be a mud monster forever!

Caly yelped in surprise as she actually made contact, she had expected herself to miss, or the other thing to move. She frowned as she noticed the the figure in her claws as much smaller, and rather fluffier than she imagined it to be. As her paws touched him, Caly soaked in his vibrations in the split second tha they were still in the air, and got a semi-colorless, sonar-like picture of what he looked like. What a strange male P'an! Fluffy and four eyes, unusual "ears", and his whiskers were ridiculously long... Caly almost laughed out loud.
But then she noticed how he stiffened and cringed as they hit the muddy water; it as though he wasn't a afraid of being attacked, but more like grossed out at getting muddy. Caly frowned and scrambled off and away from the boy, tracking his vibrations in the water, wondering if he would need help out. It was obvious he wasn't going to attack her, and now she felt rather guilty for pouncing him first. She curled up slightly on the top of the water, trying to keep him in her focus, hoping he wouldn't try to pounce her back...

He was stunned, his body paralyzed as it sank deeper into the muddy pit. All he could think about was how dirty he had just become and how long it would take to get clean. He would never regain his dignity if he went home looking like a drowned rat!
Continuing to sink farther into the pool of water he felt the tickle of weeds on his back, beckoning him to come closer, to sink to the bottom and never return. Even the thought of touching that disgusting floor made him cringe, his body quickly waking up from the nightmare. He would have to move, fast. Maybe he could even get some of the gunk off him if he escaped the water quick enough.
Twirling his body around in the water like some kind of large fluffy snake, Apollo attempted to shoot out of the water, only to feel the heavy weight of his own fur catch the waves. He was stuck, and the air in his lungs was already running out. Was he going to drown here? It couldn't possibly be true... could it?
I need.. help.

Caly could feel the creature sinking into the water, and she squealed in horror. She hadn't meant to kill anybody! Caly swiftly uncoiled herself and shot into the muddy water after the boy. She could see him best when she was underwater, and easily found his arms. Caly then hooked her arms under his shoulders and hoisted him out of the water with practiced ease. She thrust her way through the swamp with her webbed hands, and they slowly got higher and higher, and finally burst out from the bog and into the air.
With a panicked sweep of immediate environment with her sonar, Caly was able to locate a dry spot covered in soft heather through the trees. She quickly and carefully floated her way over to it, and set the boy down gently. Caly then placed her hand over his heart, hoping she would be able to still feel it beating, all the time whispering under her breath, "C'mon c'mon c'mon... breath you fool..." Caly knew how to resuscitate some one who had nearly drowned, but... she was rather hoping he would just start breathing and moving about on his own...

As his mind slowly started to drift away, allowing the darkness to swallow him up he could feel himself being lifted to the surface at high speeds. Had something found him in the murky water and decide to spare his life? His heart beat faster at the thought and surely enough something had, as he soon felt the sting of air hit his wet body.
What was the thing pulling him along anyway, it felt, odd, slimy even. Was a giant frog his rescuer? He shivered on the inside. It wouldn't want to take him back to it's nest would it? Or worse, eat him...
His body hit the ground softly, he refused to open his eyes or move in fear of what the creature next to him might do. Play dead, play dead he thought to himself as he held his breath. It would eat him if he was already dead.... right?

Calypso growled as she could feel his heart beating, but couldn't hear him breathing. She knew she couldn't wait any long, if he had stopped breathing, he wouldn't last much longer, and then his heart really WOULD stop! She shivered at the idea of killing some one. That was something her parents would do, not her! She placed her webbed hands crisscrossed on Apollo's chest and began to pump gently. 1-2-3-4-5, she counted in her head. Next... next came the embarrassing part. She opened his mouth slightly and, cupping her hands around his open maw so that the air wouldn't escape, she placed her mouth on his and pressed the air into his body. With drowning people, they probably had water in their lungs, so you had to try and get the lungs to react to it by making them cough it up. She blushed profusely as her mind began to wonder what he looked like. That wasn't something to think about when you are saving someone's life, a voice roared in her head!
